Grain Wood Furniture Montauk 2-Drawer Bedside Nightstand, Solid Wood with Driftwood Finish

I was looking for nightstands to complement our existing Broyhill pine bedroom set. These fit the bill perfectly! The color is called "farmhouse black" but what I like is that they are not "screaming" black or opaque looking in anyway. The color has a lot of dimension to it - shades of dark brown etc. so it eases into the other woods in our room. Despite the distressing of the wood, they do NOT feel dry/rough/splintery at all. They feel like they are very well coated/sealed. I changed out the knobs on our dresser to a oil rubbed bronze and it further aesthetically joins the pieces - or so I think! :) They came packed very nicely and assembly was straightforward with good instructions. The only negative is that they do have a rather strong smell of stain when you take them out of the box. After assembling the first one, I sat it outside under a covered deck to off-gas for 48 hours then it was fine. For the second one, I put the pieces outside first so as to avoid the strong smell during the assembly process. Worked great. These are very sturdy and interesting looking. Drawers slide well. No regrets at all. I am very very happy with my purchase. Take some time to go on the Grainwood Furniture website and check out the information/videos there regarding the company and its furniture production process, etc. Very interesting.

These were not difficult to assemble, lots of parts sure, but worth it because it's just the way they have to be shipped. They look great--very versatile to appeal to a modern farmhouse decor style or even modern glam I think!

I like these dressers. They’re very aesthetic easy to put together and I like that. It’s not stark black like it’s farmhouse black so it has a little bit of a dimension. I do wish that they were a little bit taller and a little bit wider, but it works good in my room that’s not so big and it’s not taking up so much space which I do like.

These nightstands are gorgeous. They’re solid wood and heavy with great storage space. It’s so hard to find decent sized wood nightstands, for a good price. 10/10The first one was a little hard for me to assemble as some of pictures in the instructions didn't show certain angles that would have been helpful. However, I got it figured out and the 2nd one was a lot easier

Absolutely love these night stands. They look great and function well. They do take about an hour to make them. I use glue to make sure they were sturdy. The directions were easy to follow.

Quality of nightstand is excellent. Depending on your skill level, could take an hour or more to build. Parts and materials are top notch. Finished product is what we were looking for.
