Great rattle toy
Our baby loves to shake and rattle this hedgehog. It’s very easy for him to grasp. Parts of it are softer than others so they are good for teething. My only complaint is that the hedghog can’t stand up on its own because it’s top-heavy, but baby doesn’t mind that.

Great toy
My 7 month old loves this. He started playing with it probably around 5 months but he used to clock himself in the head with it a lot. Not so much now. Its super easy for him to pick up, It makes satisfying noises, its easy to wipe down, and now he even spins the beads on the front of it. Its so cute too.

One of my baby's favorite toys!
This has consistently been one of my daughter's most favorite toys. She's 8 months old now, but she's been interested in it since she was about 3 months old. Initially I clipped this little hedgehog onto my baby bouncer using these links Bright Starts Lots of Links Accessory Toy and my daughter would play with it while it hung down and she was in the bouncer. Now that she's older she can hold it in her hands and play with it that way. I think it's easy for a baby to hold because it's soft and flexible on the bottom (with all the holes). The top has interesting textures and seems to be fun to chew on. My daughter also likes the two beads on the front that slide back and forth.

Baby’s Favorite Toy
Cute! Easy for baby to grab, he smiles sooo big when he sees this toy.Great for teething! He grabs it and shakes it all around as it jingles but not too loud to be annoying. He has played with it since he was four months older and at 10 months he cruzes around and bounces it forward and he goes and chases it.Can’t believe how much use we have gotten out of this toy.

My baby loves it!
I have a 3 month old baby and this is one of the first toys we’ve given him. He loves it! He’s able to grab it easily and loves the rattle. Highly recommend for infants!

What would we do without Mr. "hérisson"?
This was one of our first-born daughter's "first toys" (this, the Taggies Heather Hedgehog rattle, a set of plastic stacking cups, and the Manhattan Toy Winkel Rattle were her 4 "first toys"... I highly recommend all of them). She was an IUGR preemie so wasn't interested in toys until about 4 months (she had lots of tummy problems before then), but once she was ready for toys, she instantly perked up and gravitated to "Mr. Hérisson" (Mr. Hedgehog-- we're a French-speaking household). She LOVES "Mr. Hérisson's" rattle noise, "his" texture (why she has decided that her toy hedgehog is a boy, I'm not sure...), the beads in front, and the TEETHING capability. We LOVE that it's low-tech, has multiple ways for her to play with it, and it's easy to clean even when she's vomited on it for the thousanth time. Now, at 10 months, even though she's "outgrown" her "hérisson" (walking and getting into mischeif seem to be the new thing for her), she keeps coming back to "Mr. Hérisson" daily, especially when she's teething or when she wants to 'show off' that she can keep a musical beat. Even now, when we take her to the doctor or out to a restaurant, it's one of our go-to toys.TLAS: This toy has provided our daughter hours of endless joy (even while getting her vaccines at the physician's office). It's easy to clean for parents. I may only be a first time parent, but I HIGHLY recommend this toy.

Awesome for a baby 4 months or older.
This is a really cool toy, I got it for my 3 month old, but she's not quite ready for it due to the size and weight. The head is pretty hard, but I also have a 4 year old so I've been through the whole baby thing before. This would be great for a 4 month old or a teething child because its very sturdy, has a lot of surfaces good for chewing, the bottom part with the holes is a soft silicone (I think) that is easy to squish and grab. This toy is about the size of a softball, and I could see a child as old as 14 months (if not older) really enjoying this toy.
