Way to make chores more fun
The media could not be loaded. I got these for my kids ages four and six who wanted to start earning money. It’s easy for them to swipe across to mark when their chore is done, and they know whose is whose because of the different colors. Some of the chores listed weren’t ones we’d really do, but it comes with blank paper so you can write in alternate chores. I like that the chores have photos by them so that kids who aren’t reading yet can still figure out what the chore is.I do wish the blank papers were maybe stickers or a format that made it easier to replace over the already written chores. I ended up cutting them out and taping them on. I also wish that these had a better way to hang, like maybe a magnetic back to hang on the fridge. I ended up getting magnetic tape, and that worked well.Overall these are helpful, although my children’s zeal for chores is already seeming to die out.

A motivational tool for raising responsible kids
Like any other kid, mine hates doing chores. The minute I mention the idea, he either suddenly is hard of hearing or feigns sleep. So with this item, I turned doing chores into a game. Every day he completes all the items on the daily chores list, he gets a reward. The OCD in him gets the satisfaction of fiddling with the easy to use sliders, and moving them to complete. Tell me who doesn't feel that rush of dopamine whenever ticking something off a checklist? Same idea. Though I hang it off the wall, this item is light enough for my kid to carry it around with him as he goes about. Now I no longer need to remind him nor fight with him to do his chores.
