Very effective reducing echo
It considerably reduces room echo particularly in rooms with high ceilings or too empty. The price is better than more known brands

No help in live stage setting
I invested in one of these in the hope that it might help cut on-stage feedback to a sensitive condenser microphone. In theory, this ought to work -- should keep sounds from anywhere other than directly in front of the mic from re-entering the signal. In practice, it did next to nothing as far as I could tell. 🙁 I can really vouch for it in an indoor setting with little other ambient noise, but can't recommend it as a live musical performance aid. (When I reached out to the manufacturer before purchase to ask about its use in this setting, no one ever responded.)
