Very Good!
I travelled to France with this. I managed to simultaneously charge my laptop using the USB port as well as plugging in a coolbox. Some people reviewed this product stating the fan was loud and distracting - my husband and I did not find this an issue - we could not hear the fan at all when we were driving or had music on. The coil cable was handy as it stretched just enough for our needs. We have had this inverter since July 2012 and have not had any problems. Great product and worth every penny, we can't travel without it - ps. cheaper than Halfords!

Well worth the money.
i bought this to power a retina macbook pro, rated at 85W under a full load so thought that the 120W output of this would suffice. As I was driving in a friends back seat, I wasnt keen to blow a fuse in his car but, this has performed perfectly. The car in question has a rear power outlet, the charger got hot but managed to run this for a full 8 hours on a run to the south of france.I recommend this product even though I emailed their support unit and they told me that in order to output 85W, it would need far more and would likely blow the fuse.If you are employed as a technical support technician, know your product.5 star product,4 Stars for support

May have broken something ?
Very difficult to get a UK 3 pin plug into it. Eventually managed it but something went snap before I could. Seems to sort of work though. Mine puts out a max of 205v (measured) which is not low enough to upset the things I want to use it for too much.

review
I purchased this item to replace one that i broke,i must say it is a good item and the USB charging port is a fantastic addition, i have one critisium and that is that while it is being used it is quite noisy with white noise but while the car is being driven with the radio on you cannot hear it but it does work very well and would recommend it, it is compact and does what i bought it to do *****

Power, power everywhere...
There are certainties in life. New gadgets will change the way you live and work. Those same gadgets will become essential. Just when you need them most, they will run out of juice in a remote location with no sign of a plug around...Now, that's all in the past. Regardless of where I drive, I always have the means to ensure that I am contactable and connected to the world. The RINV120 provides constant clean power and stores away compactly in the central console, ready for any requirement.

Would recommend
I've been using this little inverter for 18 months, I'm on my second one but first one still works, the fan gets loud after a while, use it to power TV, internet and charging phones often for 12 hours a day, most days of each week. for the money they are good value, don't throw them around, and make sure they are upright when you are using them!
