Nice tool, only used briefly so far, comfortable wooden handle good flex to the blade. Cut well through the small wood job I had to try it out. Seems well made and easy enough to fold up and put in tool bag or even hand for bit of wild camping.

Excellent. Really well made. Both cutting sides work perfectly. They work so well I've sawn straight into my fingers more than once as the speed caught me off guard. Would recommend. The saw though not the finger cutting.

I expected slightly better quality for something priced at £19.19(at time of review). I definately wouldnt of payed the rrp price of £29.99 thats for sure. This Chinese made Japanese style saw looks really nice and is decent quality. I like that you could feasibly take it apart, or possibly even change the blade if you so wanted for example. It was also well packaged, the box was stylish but there was no plush bag/pouch with mine, like other reviewers mention. The blade teeth are very sharp, as you'd expect, great for pruning or sawing things on the smaller side. The blade size is small compared to the standard hand saws you get in the UK. For this reason I purchased the bigger blade size of 8 Inch. I think the 5 inch version would be too small to be practical or effective. Overall, I think its a nice saw, and would make a great gift. I cant see it replacing your standard usual saw though.

Very sharp and its kept sharp after a lot of use . Its easy to pull and push on with little effort and makes a very clean cut. It light and folds down to a small size to clip onto your tool belt when climbing. It's a quality product. I might buy a larger one . I've used the Silky brand before which are good but I prefer this .

I really like my GLORITY Hand Saw, 8 Inch Japanese Folding Pruning Saw, because unlike any other saw in my workshop this is an excellent alternative for precision cutting. The Japanese blade is made such that unlike conventional European and UK hand saws the teeth are positioned that you cut as you draw the saw blade towards you. This allows for a more precise cut as you can see exactly where you are cutting at all times as the blade bites and cuts where you can see it. The fac that this saw also folds away like a butterfly knife with the handles becoming the protection to the edge of the saw blades and teeth is very good. I also keep the blade lightly oiled as it sits within the handles. When full deployed in the open position the handles are slightly sprung against the back of the blade and when fixed open they clip together in a very secure way. the saw feels robust and safe to use. the handles are comfortable and do not cut into your hands even when gripped tightly. I like this saw so much that I treat it with reverence and even keep it stored in its box so that it is looked after very well, and kept for those special jobs where precision is key.

I have the smaller version which I like very much. Sharp and useful to carry in my tool box. The 8" one not so much. Yes it's a good blade but is unnecessarily thick. These saws cut on a pull stroke allowing light blades. This is not a pruning saw as any wet wood would simply jam the teeth. The whole saw is overweight and badly balanced. This spoils what could have been a great addition to anyone who moves their toolboxes from place to place. Small version good bigger nah.

Had this now for over a year and still cuts brilliantly. I make hiking sticks and Slingshots and it's great to keep in a pocket incase you see some suitable wood out and about. Great for any bushcraft project and for a price that doesn't break the bank.

Great medium Japanese saw. That handle is good size even for big hands like mine. Smooth wooden handle. The cutting is fantastic does the job on any type of wood. Obviously if you need to cut big wood or big work you may need a bigger one but does the job. The cutting is precise doesn't damage the wood when you cut. Fantastic tool, folds nicely can be carried easily.

Die Mini-Ryoba ist wertig gefertigt, hat schöne Holzgriffe, einen gut funktionierenden Schicherungsbügel und liegt gut in der Hand oder passt zusammengeklappt prima in die Zollstocktasche. Sie ist auch auf beiden Seiten für Längs und Querschnitte schön scharf, allerdings vom Schnittbild nicht vergleichbar mit einer echten Japansäge. Die Schnitte sind deutlich breiter als 1 mm und die Schnittflächen sind leicht rau. Das ist dem deutlich dickeren Sägeblatt und der leicht geschränkten Zahnung geschuldet - andererseits ist dies aber eher ein Pluspunkt in Bezug auf Stabilität und die Verwendung zum Frischholz-Schneiden. Beeindruckt hat mich die Verpackung. Sie ist aus Hartkarton, hat einen tollen Klappdeckel mit Magnetverschluss und innen ein Staufach für die Säge mit einer Abdeckung aus einer Art Pergamentpapier - das wertet die kleine Säge z.B. als Geschenk noch einmal deutlich auf. Die werde ich sicher nicht wegschmeißen. Eine praktische kleine Faltsäge für unterwegs, die ihren Preis wert ist.

J’ai été agréablement surpris par la qualité de cette scie japonaise GLORITY 203 mm. Dès la première utilisation, on sent que la lame en acier SK5 est robuste et bien affûtée. La coupe est nette, précise et surtout très facile grâce au système de coupe en tirant, qui demande moins d’effort qu’une scie classique. Le double tranchant est vraiment pratique : un côté pour les coupes rapides et l’autre pour les finitions plus fines et précises. Elle fonctionne très bien aussi bien sur du bois tendre que du bois dur. Je l’ai utilisée pour des petites découpes de menuiserie, des tasseaux et même des finitions délicates, le résultat est impeccable. La prise en main est confortable, la scie est légère mais reste stable pendant la coupe. Les dents 13/14 TPI permettent un travail propre avec très peu d’éclats. Très utile également pour les coupes d’affleurement et les travaux précis d’onglet. Excellent rapport qualité/prix, outil efficace et agréable à utiliser. Je recommande sans hésiter aux bricoleurs comme aux passionnés de menuiserie ! 👍🏻

La uso da più di un anno e non potevo chiedere di meglio, la uso per hobby ma taglia bene ed è comodissima da portare con se per piccoli lavori. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo

Gute Japansäge im handlichen Format. Platzsparend und dennoch gut verarbeitet! Ich würde die Säge wieder kaufen!
