Logitech N315 Portable Lapdesk & Cooling Pad, Black & Pink

I first purchased the Logitech N600 which is very similar to this except the N600 has a multi-touch touchpad in place of the N315's mouse pad. While I enjoyed the N600, there were many times I wanted to use a regular mouse instead. The N600 can be switched off however, the uneven surface of the touchpad, buttons and palm rest on top of the extremely slippery surface (expected for a touchpad), led me to purchase this N315.The N315's mouse pad area has raised rubber lined edges to catch your mouse in case you're not on a flat surface - which would be most of the time if you're using this remotely as intended. Also, if I'm working at an extreme angle I find myself placing part of the mouse on the main surface area in between uses as the main grip is magnificent. In addition to everything I've already mentioned, the N315 is very thin yet quite solid and as I just stated, the main surface has this wonderful rubber coating that fiercely fights against slippage.In the title I mentioned how the N315 was "Multi-Purpose". Now, what I mean by that is how it makes a fantastic table like surface for a number of occasions. The rubber surface makes it great place to hold drinks, stack remotes or other couch/computer/tech items on, you can even serve a plate of food on the N315. The coating makes it very easy to clean if you happen to get creative with its uses and would like to wipe it down. For the most part, this is also true with the N600 as long as you have the touchpad safely slid into the closed state.I highly recommend this product and have already ordered a second N315 for my girlfriend.

I just got it today and I have used it throughout the day and it does not do what it is supposed to meaning protecting you from the heat coming from the laptop. I could feel the heat and it is absolutely unbearable. Also the retractable mouse pad hurts your hand and is not helpful at all. I just submitted a return request as I have no intention to spend $15 for something I am going to throw away.

came with gray colored pad. even though it was shone and stated to be pink . the package even said pink. because it was a third party purchase I would have to return it, get a refund just to order it again. It was supposed to be a gift and arrived late because of UPS shipping delay.

The mouse map is very convenient. However, it isn't an actual cooling pad. There is no cooling fan or power source to assist in cooling the laptop down. Yes it prevents my lap from getting to hot holding the laptop, but other then that it is a good product

I mistakenly thought this would cool the laptop, but what it does is keep your lap from getting the heat from thelaptop. I like the slide out extension for the mouse. This works great for me. I added my own cooling fan.I sit the lapdesk on my lap, then put the fan on top of it, then put my laptop on top of the fan. This works well.I then pull out the extension of the lapdesk and put my mouse on it.Works for me! Thanks!

I have owned this several months now. It does exactly what it should. It fits my Macbook Pro laptop just perfectly. The lapdesk doesn't slide off my lap, and the computer doesn't slide off the lapdesk. And, a delight because I hadn't thought about needed it, there is a lip on the pull out part for the mouse so my mouse doesn't slide off either. It is small enough that most chairs I sit in will allow me to open the mouse slider all the way, --- And the mouse slider being pink is just a cool extra. I'm happy with it.

This is my forth one, we have one for every laptop in the house...Light weight, easy to use, made very well. I always purchase LOgitech products, keyboards, mice etc. You cannot go wrong purchasing this item.
