I have had a different type of shade that has a different weave which is more like harsh sack cloth and does do its job but this one is advertised as waterproof and so far it has managed a couple of showers but not been left out in a downpour yet. It has a seam that run the length of the shade which doesn't cause me any issues but should be noted for other buyers. It is a very tight type of material but does seem to dip no matter how tight you have the corners pulled so this could be an issue when raining as it will cause it to sit in this area even if the shade is and properly. In the main I am happy with the product though and I got it in a deal as well so worth the price at the time.

This has made such a difference to my conservatory. I've resisted getting ceiling blinds or an awning as they are so expensive, but desperately needed to stop the sun, heat and glare. It's lovely and shady under it, there's a noticeable difference in temperature. I just used Command hooks to mount it, so haven't stretched it too taught. It works so well I have ordered another one to cover the rest of the ceiling. As others have said, the fabric does have some small imperfections, but it's not enough to bother me. For the price, it's a perfect solution.

These shade sails seem to be a decent quality, especially given that they were such a low price, It's not really the time of year for shade sails in the UK (autumn) but I like them to give a bit of shelter and so I can still sit outside. You need to make shade sails stretched out as much as possible and also tilted so that the rain can run off. I also used a supporting piece of rope to run from one side to the other to form roof shapes with each sail to try to avoid water gather in the centre. You sometimes need to adjust where you have tied them up if you notice any gsthering of water. It's been raining heavily for days but, so far, the rain seems to have run off successfully. Note that besides the supplied ropes, I opted to tie the sails up with some bungee chords to allow easy release if you need to take them down or release them in high winds - the great British weather!

Purchased this to replace one I had for 3 yrs. Material is light and not water proof. The anchor straps a bit flimsy one broken already. Will last the summer but not next year

Purchased for use on decking/gazebo area, the material is thinner than expected but the seams and D rings are well sewn. Due to time of year purchased cannot comment on how well it works - the 2x3m was just slightly too large but this is a bit short lengthwise for area needed but will see how we go when installed.Have purchased extra D-plates and carabiner clips for installation...will try and remember to update when up.Purchased arrived quickly

The item arrived very promptly and was well packaged, and even comes in a nice little zip up bag. The instructions are straightforward and easy to understand.The shade was exactly as described and has been a godsend in the heatwave we’ve just had, and is standing up to the torrential rain I’m now getting. The quality of the materials was extremely good and it’s well made and robust. The ropes are strong and good quality. I would recommend that it’s a two person job to put it up, but was fairly easy. When erected it provided a very good amount of shade.Overall I’m very happy with my purchase, and would recommend both the product and seller.

Seemed fine upon installation, was the perfect size to cover a section of the garden. However now after a month the fabric has stretched and bellows in the middle so you can pull it tight as the edges are stitched
