The trimmer is all of the above. I am an older woman and was positively surprised how light and easy to handle this hedge trimmer is. It goes thru even thicker branches like butter. Battery lasted to trim several hedges & I still could have continued. Loved that you can adjust the trimmer handle to your needs, to an angle of 45 or 90 degrees. At this price point I doubt that you can find a better one. Highly recommend it!!!

I've been using corded hedge trimmer and always have to worry about cord that I didn't like. So, I decided to purchase cordless one since I've been using cordless chainsaw for couple years, and it got strong power, light, and easy to use. I only used this one twice and seems doing pretty good. It cuts nicely, light weighted, have strong power, and it can adjust handle that is nice idea because most of time I have to trim side way a lot. We have so much trees, and we do like trimmed it. I trimmed those trees in a picture within 20 minutes. Height of these trees are about 10 feet tall, shortest one is about 5 feet tall. It still had a power left, so I trimmed other side for about same amount of time. And one more place, and still having power left. Overall, I really like this trimmer, but I have to see if its keep on doing job or not. Hopefully, I can keep this one for years, at least.

Came ahead of original delivery date, charged first thing, went and trimmed 2 bushes in front of house, did a great job. Love the way it can adjust to any angle needed to trim. The reason for 4 stars is the battery doesn’t last long but also doesn’t take long to charge. Can’t do large items to cut but knew that when I bought it.

I really like this trimmer. First, not having to mess around with an electrical cord or gas/oil, is very nice. Second, I was surprised just how strong and fast this tool works coupled with the battery life. It works well cutting branches in the 1/2 to 3/4 range quite easily and cuts through bush tops/leaves like butter. Third, so far, the battery life is excellent for my uses. I did my front yard bushes, about 12 medium sized ones, ranging from 3-6 feet, and two full trees around their lower outer thin limbs with leaves and still had plenty of power left it seemed like. Lastly, as I mentioned it is fast. I had all of the above trimmed in less than 45 minutes with the longest and hardest work just being the rake and clean up. Overall, if you're looking for a solid reliable battery powered hedge and bush trimmer I highly recommend this one. Just understand.....it's-not-a-chainsaw.....! Don't try hacking through thick branches of any kind; I use a battery powered chain saw for those and it works great.

This was my third purchase of SOYUS outdoor electric garden tools, and once again, they delivered on the promise. This hedger cut through branches that were up to 1/2" thick like butter. And after I got done trimming this pomegranate tree, there was still plenty of juice left in the battery. The nice thing about all (or most) of their outdoor garden electrics, is that they all use the same 20V system, so you can swap batteries amongst any of the tools. Really convenient. Very pleased with the purchase, and as a bonus, it comes with a sturdy blade guard so that you don't get nicked up when you're transporting the tool from the garage to the yard, or whatever location you're taking it to do the work. Overall, I would highly recommend this product.

I first bought this 18-inch hedge clipper in June 2022 and used it a couple of times with good results. More recently I wanted to use it so I charged up the battery to the green light state, put the battery in the tool, pulled the trigger and ....nothing. Since the battery was at full charge and the tool would't respond, I figured the hedge clipper was at fault so I ordered a new one for replacement. I charged up the battery, inserted it in the clipper and the clipper went into action. Since my old battery from the 2022 clipper purchase was charged up, I inserted it into the new tool expecting it to jump into action...NOTHING!! I placed the new battery in the old clipper and, Voila!!! It it immediately jumped into action. So, the problem was not with the old clipper as the old clipper ran flawlessly with the new battery. It seems though that buying a new replacement battery on Amazon cost as much as buying a new hedge trimmer that includes the battery (Clipper w/battery $64.99) vs. (Battery Only $59.99) Otherwise, the trimmer is a great tool and does a good job without having to pull out a long heavy extension cord. I love the ease and freedom allowed without being tethered to an extension cord.

Just opened and initially used the Soyus cordless hedge trimmer. The package it came in was intact, no damage, and arrived two days before it had been supposed to arrive. The trimmer was put together except for the battery, which was charged! I immediately trimmed several shrubs, the trimmer is longer (22") than my previous "plug in" trimmer. It is light and easily maneuverable and worked like a dream. I purchased this trimmer mainly because I had just recently purchased a Soyus cordless string trimmer and I was very happy with it. Also, the string trimmer had come with two (2) batteries and a charger and I was hoping that the batteries for both the string trimmer and hedge trimmer would be interchangeable, and they are! Both trimmers more than exceeded my expectations and I am very happy with both trimmers. The price is also incredibly competitive, so for me a win-win. I highly recommend the Soyus 20V cordless hedge trimmer.
