Rolife DIY Miniature House Kits for Adults -Cozy Kitchen (Advanced Level)

This was my first DIY house. As I am new to this hobby I found a few of the parts to be a bit challenging. The lighting was a problem but I did it. I have gotten compliments on this and am happy with how it came out. Rolife is just awesome.

A very fun and involved kit. Im used to building book nooks but this is a bit different with how its laid out. So if you can build those, this will won't be a problem. Just a bit more patience is required for the smaller pieces.

This was easy and fun to put together. There was plenty of glue and the pieces were easy to pop out of the molds. My only issue was the lighting. I wasn't able to put it together correctly. I still gave a 5 star rating because it's so charming and my daughter loves it.

I’m loving it until I get to the electrical my boyfriend helped with that part it worked when he finished I went to hang it up like the diagram said but it wouldn’t work after that not sure if something got pulled loose or if it’s just fragile. I plan on buying some string lights from Walmart to go around the border so no biggie. The chair leg was snapped 😢 it’s not able to be put back together with glue and there aren’t extra wooden parts but there are extra paper pieces. I’m hoping I can find a chair somewhere else. Overall I’m enjoying assembling everything. Super easy instructions and very organized and so so adorable.

I am a huge fan of these guys and I'm noticing that every set will have it's pros and cons. Though this set is worth the purchase, some obstacles I came across with this set were: the glue, instructions and some of the structure. The instructions were a bit confusing for me as some of the visuals would show different products or show products that look the same. I notice that when you put A and B together, the instructions showing how to put C and D together to connect to A & B, the picture of A and B is gone. Hope that makes sense! I advise to use a hot glue gun or your own glue as the glue included in the set made me feel sick once some fell on my skin. (They do have a warning about it being on the skin but how can you really avoid that? :) ) The structure was another problem. You REALLY need a cutter or something sharp to remove the wooden pieces or else it can crack and/or break in half. Even chip! Don't push too hard, these pieces are somewhat fragile. Aside from all of this, it was a successful build and I will keep buying from them because I love them and there sets are awesome sauce!

I enjoyed working on this room. Love the larger size. Makes it less frustrating on the really tiny,tiny pieces. There were a couple of items that I never used. There weren't even any instructions for these items. Maybe they included them by mistake. Don't know. I changed the wallpaper and added some rugs to make it a bit different. I do that to all the rooms I do. Adding little touches here and there makes it feel more like your own. It only took 1 day and half to complete.

Cozy Kitchen - I bought this kit because I liked the colors and all the little kitchen ware items. I have built other Rolife 1:18 kits and they were all very good quality and easy to build. Cozy Kitchen however needs to be redesigned by Rolife. The pieces were flimsy and difficult to assemble. Some pieces did not fit properly because they were warped. The walls did not go together without gaps in the corners. The kitchen utensils were paper cutouts. There was a lot of paper cutting by hand from cheap printer quality paper. In other Rolife kits the lighting is already assembled and very simple to attach the lamp to the battery pack. Cozy Kitchen lighting requires wiring the light element to the wire leads and then through the lamp shade. I disliked having to fashion the faucet, oven handles, microwave handle, and towel rack from various wire tube thicknesses. In other Rolife kits, all that comes finished as part of the kit. Cozy Life is a very primitive kit. Had this been the first Rolife kit I assembled, I would never have bought another. It was that bad. Fortunately I have built many Rolife kits. They were all high quality and fun to assemble. Cozy Kitchen was a nightmare. It took twice as long to finish because of all the workarounds I had to do to get the pieces to work together. If you're thinking of getting Cozy Kitchen - don't.

Cannot take a photo I have not finished. I am enjoying it , much too hard for a 10 year old. The parts in 8 different bags. When the connecting small pieces do not fit you need to use something to make them fit. I use an inexpensive rotary tool. My hands due arthritis this is perfect. Intricate to build and must follow great instructions. Use good glue. One is in the pack that is ok. I really do enjoy it. One point is leave the parts in the bags or you will be in a confusion.

Rolife consistently has the best quality mini kits. I love that they’re well- made, and the instructions are always so easy to follow.

J'ai essayé d'autres style de maisons miniatures avant celui-ci et je trouvais la fabrication extrêmement longue et complexe. Par contre ce modèle de Rolife est absolument génial! La qualité des pièces est incomparable et le manuel d'instruction est clair et facile à suivre. J'ai monté ce modèle en quelques heures à peine, comparativement aux autres qui sont restés inachevés par manque de temps. Le prix est un peu plus élevé mais ça vaut franchement la peine, pour la qualité du produit. Je le recommande sans hésiter!
