We live in southwest Florida and have a large in-ground pool. I have been using the smaller Kokido pool vacuum for 2.5 years and liked it. When the charging prong rusted off (see picture), I planned to buy the same unit, but it was not available. So I purchased the larger vacuum - the picture shows both models. It was more expensive, but worth it. It is larger and heavier and the charge lasts longer. It picks up debris well, including sand. I highly recommend.

I've purchased this vacuum over a year ago after looking at all the options, it's still working very well! I love it! great size, good suction, easy to clean. It's a simple design which is why I decided to buy this option, not many parts, just a motor and collection bag, when you switch it on it has a sensor that starts the motor after putting into the water. I struggle with the hose, it's so long and sometimes came out of suction point, not using it anymore, I like the fact I can see what's been picked up and it isn't going into the filter so the need for backwashing is also less. The battery is very good, I can vacuum 2 pools, and it still has charge. After a year of use I'm finding the charging port to be a bit ticklish, it's not easy to get the contact when the plug is inserted, thinking it may need a little sanding around the contacts, could be due to the salt pools causing corrosion around the pins. I've sewn a few small holes on the collection bags and will look to order replacements. I would recommend this vacuum, it's small, easy to use, simple design, light weight, I'll buy another soon, as a back-up, don't want to go back to using a hose.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! This is a great vacuum, until it stops working. I was able to recharge the battery once. However, after additional normal use the unit stopped powering on. Assuming it needed to be recharged again, I plugged in the charger. It would not recharge. There is no damage to the vacuum. It just stopped working. No lights. No charging. No power. Nothing. It's still under warranty, so I expected to get some help. The company contacted me after my first email. They gave me some troubleshooting ideas. I tried them. No solution. So, I let them know their solutions were not successful. I asked for next steps. It's been 10 days since they contacted me last. I've emailed again, twice over the past 10 days. With no reply at all, I became very frustrated and called the toll free Customer Service number they provided in the one email reply they sent. The greeting system put me on hold. So, I waited. Several minutes later, the system said nobody was available to take my call. I hung up and called again later. Same result. This time I left a VM to have them call me back. NO REPLY.

so far, so good!!! i used the vac multiple times a day as the huge ceiba in my yard dropped all of its leaves; and then the monkeys came and dropped all the new shoots in the pool. i like that it gives you a blue light until it's submerged, when the green light comes on. if it gets jammed, which it does....it stops, throws a red light. i just was able to take it out, turn it off, clear the obstruction, and get it back into the pool. nice. my big bummer about the device is that it uses these oblong wheels that don't turn, which not only makes it a bit of a bear to get around (i have some curves in my pool), but two have already broken and i have found no way to replace them. so it's even more of a pain. MAYBE someone will read this and help.

I’m not someone who typically writes product reviews, but this is one of those cases where I felt it was worth calling out. I purchased the KOKIDO XTROVAC 910 back in August 2024, and to this day it performs just as well as it did on day one. That alone says a lot. What pushed me to buy it was years of frustration with pool service companies. It was always the same experience—quick “splash and dash” visits, in and out in 10 minutes, a quick skim of the surface, and little attention to detail. Over time, it became clear I wasn’t getting real value, and I decided to take control of it myself. After a thorough search, I came across the KOKIDO rechargeable pool vacuum—and it’s been a game changer. What stands out: Strong suction power: The 8X suction claim holds up. It picks up debris that typical maintenance often misses. Ease of use: Simple setup, no complications. It just works. Efficiency: In about 15 minutes, I can get my pool cleaner than what I was getting from paid service. Reliability: Nearly a year later, performance hasn’t dropped off. Cost-effective: Eliminated the need for ongoing pool service. I don’t have a large pool, but for my needs, this has been a far more reliable and cost-effective solution. If you’re tired of inconsistent pool service or just want more control over your maintenance, this is absolutely worth considering. Bottom line: It lives up to the hype—simple, effective, and dependable. Cheers!!

I've used this item 6-8 times during a heavy leaf falling season, with 4 oak trees close to the pool. Pros: - vac is well built, not fragile, no loose parts - suction is a monster - picked up many many individual adult oak leaves and acorns with ease. - charge holds well - many uses before recharge - Works great on my pool's toe ledge perimeter, built in seating and everything except my top step. - After 6-8 uses, its holding up well, and its a valuable tool in cleaning the pool to perfection. - It's convenient, mostly. Super nice not to have to plug anything in when using. It's truly grab and go. - works great with any typical pool pole Cons: - The fine bag that gets the tiny dirt works well - but the bag has a small flotation device sewed in at the end of it, and once dirt falls within that sewed-off area, its impossible to fully clean out. - This is more a concern than a con - It's unknown how the power jack stays protected underwater, as it gets covered up by another piece of plastic when turned on. That coverup doesn't appear to be water proof. Either way, when i take the vacuum out of the pool and turn it off, I can see a little bit of water on the jack. The manual states that you must make sure it is dry before using. The tech is cheap to make it waterproof. I considered knocking off a star, however it doesn't seem to be the issue I thought it would be, because it goes so long without needing a charge. Verdict: Yep! it's great, and quickly spot cleans what my robot vac misses, or when leaves gather in a few spots. There is some maintenance with making sure it doesnt sit with choline and/or salt water, and making sure the power adaptor is dry. I have used it alone to clean the entire pool, (30x14) but that took some effort. When used with a Robot vac, and a simple net for the leaves on the top, it basically gets all the things the other cleaners cant, and with the least amount of effort. Like any electronic pool cleaner, it needs to be thoroughly hosed off, dried and put away in a temperature-controlled environment if you want it to last. However it's a light item, and not that difficult to do.

I'm on my second one. I like that this is battery charged and has collection bags that go from very fine to a larger mesh for leaves. I used for 2 year, then dropped from the bench when charging and the plastic "wing" snapped off. I superglued back, but then mysteriously a few weeks later the charge plug kept jamming in the charge port, so I bought a new one (keeping the undamaged wing to have a replacement part to hand). Good strength of motor to suck up leaves, and a big visible capacity to the bag. The fine bag will also collect algae (when the pool is a mess). Battery capacity not an issue.

Purchased June 0f 2024: This actually worked very well, have had it for two years almost to the day. This year though it would not turn on, couldn't even get the lights on unit to come on let alone turn the propeller on. And yes, tried submerging it to make sure it wasn't just the lights (Unit itself does not turn on unless submerged). The battery had shown it was charging and then the indicator turned green to show charged after several hours. Tried unit, didn't run. Repeated the charging cycle two more times, and it would show red then after less than 5 minutes would turn back to green. So am assuming the unit itself is kaput. For the price I would expect it to last longer than two years. Bought a different brand as I do really like using this style of vacuum.
