Don't hesitate! This is a kitty-kat lifesaver!
A lifesaver! Easy to put together with just a little bit of patience (hint: to keep the tent poles from losing their strength and elasticity, start connecting from the middle, not from the ends) The screens are easy to line up, just look at the zipper design on your sweatshirt, it works the same way. My cat loves it, it's secure if you zip it up fully, it's strong and folds down into an easily transportable and storable bag.I plan on buying more tunnels to connect for more adventures!

My Cats Love This! - with updates
Was going to buy a catio but wanted to be able to store it away easily. This easy to set up mesh seems super durable. My cat loves this and I'm so happy she can enjoy being outside and stays safe.Knocking it down a star because one of the poles broke during assembly when I they started bending to hold the shape. It's still up, just a bit wonky - but that hasn't stopped my cat from begging to go out since I put it up.Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.Update. While I wasn't certain if the broken rod was a manufacturing weak spot, or user error (or both), I've spoken with the company and they were so nice to deal with - they are sending me a replacement rod so I've changed my rating from 4 to 5 because of such great customer service (also I don't think anyone ever sleeps - they answer messages FAST - no matter when you send them lol)One year update. My cats (I have 2 that go out now) still absolutely LOVE going out in this. It even stayed up all winter because they wanted to go out for short periods in all but the coldest weather. It still looks and performs as though brand new, even though I no longer break it down in bad weather (I've weighted it down with paver stones in the 4 corners so it stays put).I absolutely still recommend this product for those who can't afford/don't want a permanent catio. All things considered, especially how much my cats like it, this is one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon.

A good temporary solution for us
There was no leash or harness in the box with this kitty tent. However, we bought it to allow our cats to get fresh air until we can install a cat-proof fence, not for the leash or harness. Obviously, it's not big enough to allow them to full-out run, but at 9 and 12.5 pounds, they have plenty of space to play and wrestle. We've had it for almost a year, and it's survived some high winds and has held up pretty well considering we leave it outside most of the time. There are a few small areas on the bottom of the cube where the fabric has worn on the wire, and one of the tent poles splintered in the first few months, which was disappointing. We wrapped it in electrical tape, which allows us to continue to use it, but that makes it more difficult to get the pole in and out of the sleeve, so moving it is more cumbersome. Overall, though, this has been a godsend for our cats, especially the one who was on his own outside before we adopted him; he insists on going out and gets destructive in the house if he's not allowed to. When the weather gets really bad, we bring it into the house and leave it up, which creates extra fun for the cats because they have figured out they can play under as well as through it, one on each side of the mesh.

My Cats LOVE This Tent.
As described. The quality is good and it is well made. It went together easily. My cat enjoys spending time in it napping. I put a small blanket over it to keep the sun off him. I highly recommend this cat tent. It is a good value for the money. It looks decent on my deck, too.

Great for indoor play!
I purchased this for indoor use for my cat to play and hide in. He loves it! We’ve been using this for months. The larger dome type tent is huge so we just have the two smaller tents/playpens (which are still good sizes) and the tunnels connected. I drape blankets over the tunnels so my cat can “hide” in them, and he chases toys in them. The mesh is durable (George hasn’t damaged it yet) and withstands me dragging it around and my cat pouncing on it. It’s really simple to assemble and dismantle, lightweight, and definitely worth the cost.

My spoiled cats think it is only OK
Regarding the product, it is rather well constructed. The problem arises in assembly, as I found the instructions to be extremely lacking. This set-up may be similar to setting up a pup tent, but since I have zero experience setting one up, I struggled figuring out how to get the tent set up. What I didn't realize is you have to lay the tent flat and insert the stakes as one long piece, whereas I tried to do it while it was standing up, letting the string inside be exposed. As a result, one section of my stake broke. I was still able to use it and hope it holds up over time, but I was disappointed with this problem. Once I finally figured out the tent had to be laid flat and the stake inserted in one long length, the product went together easily. As for my cats, they are accustomed to being let out on tie-outs, so they eat grass, sometimes do their duty, and chase chippies. The problem with this set-up is I am constantly checking on them to make sure they are safe, not tangled up and not being snatched up by some big bird or coyote. I've always wanted to get or make them a nice catio--one with structure and a cat door--but my house isn't situated well enough to allow this, so I discovered this solution. They aren't big fans of the tent, as they don't have the freedom they are accustomed to (and can't eat grass or do their duty in it), so I'm still putting them out on tie-outs in the morning. But I do use the tent later in the day and they are "ok" with it and it lets me get things accomplished without constant checking on them. I was also concerned that without some cover, they would be exposed to too much sun at certain times of the day, but the mesh is actually dark and does give them some cover from the sun. Overall, I think if my cats weren't accustomed to having more freedom already, they would probably love this as an opportunity to go outside.
