I mentioned previously that I love Badger products
I mentioned previously that I love Badger products. I purchased this compressor for my airbrush. It is quiet and easy to use. The pressure gauge came already attached which was a plus. I was able to obtain about 40 PSI. This machine really didn't go much higher. However; for most airbrush projects you need a lower PSI anyway. I like that it has an airbrush holder on the back which is nice. It is small so it doesn't take up too much space. The suction cups on the bottom help to keep it in place. Overall, nice compressor for someone who is not using it for commercial use. It gets warm quickly so you have to allow the machine to rest periodically. I don't want to risk blowing out the motor.Pros- Arrived quickly - Has a airbrush holder on the back - The handle is also convenient for carrying it to different locations- It is quiet and easy to set upCons- It gets hot too quickly and you must cut it off for a while. This isn't a problem for me because I don't do large scale airbrushing.- It would be nice to have an option to go over 40 PSI if necessary, but this unit won't allow you to exceed that.

Product is excellent. Manual lacking.
I chose this compressor for my airbrushing on the recommendation of Badger's president. (He's great with replying to requests for info, BTW!). I asked him for advice on an airbrush and compressor for 1/35 scale armor modeling, and he recommended the Badger Patriot 105-1 airbrush and this compressor. The compressor is well-made and relatively quiet. It produces pressures up to 57 psi, with good control over the pressure via the regulator and knob. It also includes a moisture-trap. The only problem I have is the "manual" that comes with it. It is really just a technical-specifications sheet. There is very little information on how to actually use it (as opposed to the 105's manual, which is excellent). On the plus side, I figured out most of how to use it pretty quickly on my own. But they really do need to provide a proper user manual.

Pricey But Worth It
You get what you pay for. I saw other makes that I'm not familiar with for less money. I'm familiar with Badger so I was willing to pay a little more & get a make that I know. I use it for airbrushing scale model cars. Also it arrived two days earlier than scheduled.

It works great - very reliable
I use this with a badger airbrush. It works great - very reliable. Runs smooth and true, doesn't shake much, and doesn't run too hot. I was nervous about buying it because it's a little expensive, but I am happy with my investment and hope to use it for many years.

Doesn't wake the neighbors like my Campbell Hausfeld.
Extremely quiet and efficient unit. Does not fit all badger air hoses, needs adapter. Walks around when in use. Does not maintain pressure when airbrushing.Regardless of these negatives I am pleased with my purchase and having a low pressure regulator helps.

I'd buy it again
Good solid compressor. Easy to use, quiet enough so it doesn't get on my nerves.

Excellent Compressor
This product is Excellent. It worked out of the box and continues to be a great performer. My only criticism is that there were no useful instructions included.
