Where is this product made?

They are made in China but are really nice and sturdy and work extremely well. Clean up nice too. Some edges were a little sharp so filed those off but extremely happy with purchase.

Are these sharp enough to pierce through pig skin?

I don't know, never having tried to pierce anything stronger than a sausage casing, but these skewers are not all that sharp. Few are. However, the metal isn't all that hard, and one can sharpen them with a file. Or a hammer and anvil. It might be better to make a piercing tool from an old knife, and leave the skewers blunt, to cut down on accidental self skewering.

I haven't used them in an oven. But I have used them over a bed of coals on one of my grills and the coals get to approximately 1000 degrees. So I'm pretty sure they would be just fine in an oven. hth

Great for crafts and grilling
