I have to start off by saying these were packaged like fine art. Most impressed I've ever been with how something was shipped. Being large and heavy, I was truly afraid of the condition they might be in. It was nice to see someone understand how these packages are handled at times, and realize it's cheaper to put some effort into packaging than deal with returns due to shipping damage. This aspect alone is why I even bothered to write review! Took me a little longer to install than some other reviews due to having to remove the old rusty steps. That being said, total removal and install was done in about an hour in the setting sunlight. Instructions seemed a bit confusing at first, but once you remove everything and realize EVERY piece was either labeled or stamped, it became obvious. Very clear illustrations - no need to make it complicated. As far as the product itself, the finish is a nice crinkle type much like a spray bed liner. Seems like it will hold up well. They seem sturdy and zero movement when I put my 225 lbs on the steps. The triangular main tube gives it a unique look that I really like and it fits the truck lines perfectly. Much better looking than the round tubes I removed. All in all, I'm really happy with this purchase. Easy to install, great finish and they look good on the truck. Time will tell how they hold up, but I'm very optimistic. Definitely worth the money in my opinion.

Extremely happy with this purchase. They look great, feel solid, are very reasonably priced, and were easy to install. I especially like the closed tube and simple tread design that won't hold water. I bought these to replace very similarly looking ones I bought on Amazon that began rusting in months and had completely rusted out in only a few years. These appear to be much better for a third of the price.

Probably the easiest running boards I've ever installed. Only took less than an hour by myself. Hardest part was figuring out which side goes where. 2021 Tacoma, 3” lift, 32" tires. If I remember, Amazon said this wouldn't fit my truck, but I trusted another review who said he put it on his Tacoma. Did perfectly. From what I found, the green plastic wrap was driver's side, and the clear/opaque wrap was passenger side. They had the brackets and the actual step wrapped in their respective colors. Bolts were easy to pop in after taking out the factory plug with a flat head screwdriver. Mine were plastic and easy to remove. Directions were fine, not the greatest but not terrible. I figured most of it out myself. 6 bolts to the frame, 6 bolts to the step. Once you mount the brackets loosely, put the step on there. Start in the middle, and put the bolts loose into the step. From there move onto the next spot again, loosely. Once you get all the bolts in, go back to the middle and tighten the bolts to the step, (middle, front, back) then tighten the bolts down that attach to the truck. Done and done. You'll need a 1/2" socket, (I used my impact with attachment) open ended wrench, (ratcheting open face would be super helpful) a socket without the impact, and a long piece of cardboard to lay on. A creeper would have been delightful. So far so good, strong and sturdy, a tiny bit of flex, but that's what you want. My 6 year old doesn't need help getting in anymore! And she's a little above average for height. I would totally buy again.

I don't leave reviews usually, good or bad, but I really love the quality of these running board and the super easy installation. Took me about an hour by myself including a run to Lowe's for two missing screws. Without question would buy again.

Easy Install. In my opinion these are the best looking running boards for a Tacoma.

These step rails went on my 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro, 4 door truck. The PROS: 1. Fast delivery. From when I placed the order to arrival to my door took 3 days. 2. Packaged well and easy to follow directions. All parts were well labeled. 3. Fitment was perfect and took very little time to remove my old step bars and put these on. 4. I really like the look of these rails and they make more sense for getting into and out of my truck than my old step rails, which were right up next to the doors and basically non-functioning. The CON: 1. Some of the parts were not coated entirely and I had to touch them up with my own spray coating. It was just a few parts but it made me slow down the process a bit in order to make sure everything was properly coated against rusting. The original coating is decent but make sure all the pieces are covered or these side steps will begin to rust. I would have given this item 5 stars but because the coating was chipped and starting to rust a bit on some of the parts I gave it 4 stars. The side steps are lightweight and easy to install. They hold me up without any problem (I am 6'2" and weigh 225 lbs.) I think they look great on my truck and highly recommend for the price point, speed of delivery, and ease of installation.
