LG has a faulty dryer lint catcher in my opinion. The heat broke off an edge of our old one and so we are trying this one. The heat in a dryer can be too much for this type of material.When an edge breaks or even if it doesn't, because of this screwy arched design and the way it fits down in the dryer, the lint catcher can float up and snag garments causing the rotation of the dryer to rip and tear garments. We will see over time if this one works better.

It works well but a bit too small

The filter fits in my dryer but it takes a strong push to get it to not stick up. My original filter has smaller mesh. This one will let more lint go through to get caught in the dryer hose. Also, the mesh is rather loose in the plastic frame.It will work but I don't think it's as well made as the filter that came with my dryer.

I order this one because the gap on mine ruined few of my clothes that got stuck .This one fit ok , there is still a small gap on the side but so far nothing had been damage.The mesh catch the lint as suppose to but it doesn’t appear to be a great quality mesh.It’s ok for now but It doesn’t look like it’s going to last too long. Not really a great value for a temporary solution…

Bought to replace lint filter in my LG. It works fine but I am not sure about durability. Mesh is much larger than the original fine mesh and has some slack to it. Used twice and it does the job and traps lint. So far so good

I thought this was the exact replacement for my dryer but I didn't read the listing closely enough. My fault. It just looked exactly the same so I assumed. Unfortunately I was wrong haha. Great looking lint filter though. The screen seem sturdy and tough and it looks like the one from my original dryer....just a tad smaller. I'm sure it'd be fine if yours is a match for this.

A bedsheet got caught on my original lint filter and literally ripped it to shreds. Got this to replace it. It fits fine in my LG washer. However, the description needs to be updated because while it says stainless steel I cannot find any anywhere. The mesh is some type of plastic and the worst part is it is not stretched tight. It is very loose, making it a bit harder to remove lint from it and overall has me thinking it's not going to last that long.Also, not a big deal but I notice it every time I open the dryer is that the grey color of the filter is not the same color as the original. It's a bit darker as in the picture attached.Overall, I think the plastic mesh would be ok but I can't give it higher stars because I was expecting stainless steel as the description states and the mesh needs to be as tight as the original. I'll probably use this until I can get an OEM filter.

Nice try, but it missed the mark!-It doesn't fit very well. You have to give it an extra push to get it to fit, but it will fit.-This mesh is NOT stainless steel as stated in the name and description. It is nylon, or plastic. Plastic is fine, but perhaps they should update their information.-The mesh in this filter is a bit loose. I'm not sure how much of a difference that will make, but it seems that a tighter mesh would be better and that is how most filters are made.Finally, I have used this filter a number of times, and it generally works fine. I'm just not confident is the quality, and definitely have doubts as to how long it will last.
