Review: Well made - Beautiful knife Cutts like butter highly recommend it
Review: Good knife f - I wanted an additional “cheese knife” to add to the one I already have. These type knives have holes in the blade to prevent “drag” when cutting “sticky” cheese and similar items. These type knives have a serrated blade which honestly aren’t as sharp as a good straight edge blade. As another reviewer mentioned, I wish a portion of the blade was a straight rather than serrated blade so that it could easily be resharpened and benefit from the increased sharpness of a straight blade. As it is, this knife is adequately sharp but for cutting cheese sharpness isn’t a big issue (you can after all cut cheese with a butter knife or even piece of dental floss). Although I’ve not tried it, the listing indicates you can sharpen the blade with a 15° honing rod. I use these type knives to cut vegetables more than cheese but they cut cheese too. I don’t really understand the forked tip to the knife. I guess it would allow you to pick up a piece of cheese or something but generally it limits the functionality of the knife. In terms of quality, this is a stamped, full tang blade. The handle is comfortable in my hand. At about $25 (as of Feb ‘26), this knife is reasonably priced. That said, although I keep this knife handy, I find myself selecting other knives most of the time. For me it isn’t a bad knife but not a favorite of mine.
