First and foremost - Amazon sent us a used one first, and IMMEDIATELY made it right. If the bag shows up in a plastic bag it's NOT new. The replacement showed up in a rectangular thin box with Montana West branding on the outside. So no box = likely not new. As the title states, my wife LOVES this bag, and I got major kudos as it was a Valentines Day present for her. And honestly, given the price point, I'm really impressed at the quality of it. The coloring is extremely even, the stitching matches wonderfully, and the gold accents compliment it extremely well. Inside it's the same story. Branded interior cloth with matching gold hardware and a clean nice leather Montana West emblem inside. The shoulder strap, according to my wife, is perfect. Not too big, not too small, and plenty comfortable to hold any amount of weight she might put inside of it. LOTS of room. Tons of room. More than she'll ever need. She takes it everywhere with her now.

The bag is well made. It’s deep inside and has 2 pockets/ slots inside. And it has an outside zipper and it can carry a lot. Great for quick outings because it can hold a light weight sweater and a water bottle. Maybe even a few small souvenirs. Its versatility is subject to each individuals need. It does not have a smell at all. Very pleasant actually. The shoulder strap isn’t so narrow that it would dig into your shoulder. I’m keeping it for me- it was suppose to be for a neighbor. But I like it, so it’s mine. I ordered another one for her in a different color ;)

I like the color & style of this purse. I plan to order someone more in different colors in the near future!

I absolutely LOVE this pocketbook! I got the Turquoise color, and it looks exactly like the picture. It was a bit flimsy, so I would suggest putting something in it overnight. I rolled up a pair of jeans and threw them in the bag overnight, and by the next day, the pocketbook took shape the way it should. It was packaged very nicely. A lot of reviews said there was an odd smell to it. There was, but it is gone a day later. It's not a gross smell or anything. It's just a new leather-ish smell. I don't know how to describe it. But, I will say this: one day later, and no smell. It's a sturdy bag, and roomy inside.

Came across this on my suggestions and thought it was just the cutest so had to treat myself. Love the look and color. It is very spacious and seems to be made well. I do kind of wish the strap was a tad longer as I'm normally more comfortable with crossbody purses, but I'm getting used to it being what it is. The outer (top) zipper is kind of wonky like it may be a bit of a pain to open and close, but I keep it unzipped mainly so it doesn't bother me that much. Overall it's adorable and I like it a lot. ETA I also appreciate the brand logo being kind of smaller and on the back of the purse rather than being huge and boasted all over the front of it, as I've never really liked that type of thing🤷🏼‍♀️

I haven't been this thrilled with an Amazon package in a while. This bag is gorgeous! I got the solid turquoise with stud detail and I can't believe it was only $23. It's the PERFECT size, the zipper closure works smoothly, and the gold details look expensive. I'm not gentle with my purses, so paying hundreds for a new one isn't an option. I will definitely look up Montana West next time I need a replacement!

Beautiful… I got the turquoise one. I’ve never had a turquoise colored purse ever and I love this one. Yes, it’s a shoulder bag. It’s not like a tote. It’s perfect. It’s very very well-made. I absolutely love it. It’s perfect for what I needed it for to throw it over my shoulder, it’s deep enough to put in almost anything under the kitchen sink in my opinion… I would not hesitate to buy any one of their colors and I’m not sure why some of the reviews were so negative I don’t see one thing wrong with this purse very well made craftsmanship.
