The Champion Power Equipment 201161 MKE 12000 Tri-Fuel Portable Generator with CO Shield® is designed with your safety and convenience in mind. Owning this rugged 12,000-watt generator means the next time there’s an outage, the power in your house stays on. For projects, the massive 717cc Milwaukee Series V-Twin Engine has what it takes to handle the multiple power tools and large equipment you need to get the job done. When you are not running your generator on natural gas, you also have the option of operating it on gasoline or propane. The ability to operate your generator on three types of fuel out of the box makes this one of the most versatile generators on the market. The Fuel Select dial allows you to safely select gasoline, propane (LPG), or natural gas (NG) as your fuel source. Using natural gas, the generator produces 12,500 starting watts and 10,000 running watts. To connect this generator to your home’s natural gas source, this generator includes a 25-foot NG hose kit, which includes a female quick connect end, a female flare fitting end and an NPT male adapter. Using gasoline, the generator produces 15,000 starting watts and 12,000 running watts, and will run for 9 hours at 50% load when the 11-gallon fuel tank is full. When using a 20-pound propane tank, it produces 13,750 starting watts and 11,000 running watts, and will run for 3.5 hours at 50% load. A 6-foot propane hose with a built-in regulator is included. You’ll appreciate the handy electric start with included battery, plus Cold Start Technology ensures a quick start in cold weather. I'm soooo glad I purchased this before hurricane Beryl destroyed our power grid in Houston. I was able to power up my entire house using natural gas including AC unit (with a soft start kit) and for days without power and this thing truly lives upto it's name Champion. Make sure you do the 5 hour break-in period and change your first oil and you're all set for your outage. Yes it's expensive, but worth every penny when you are protecting your family from scorching heat or freezing cold in winter. I felt great knowing I have 3 fueling options because during a disaster, any one of these fuels can have a shortages so having tri-fuel options are a life saver. I can't praise this generator enough. This generator is a total beast. I'm soooo glad I purchased this before hurricane Beryl destroyed our power grid in Houston. I was able to power up my entire house using natural gas including AC unit (with a soft start kit) and for days without power and this thing truly lives upto it's name Champion. Make sure you do the 5 hour break-in period and change your first oil and you're all set for your outage. Yes it's expensive, but worth every penny when you are protecting your family from scorching heat or freezing cold in winter. I felt great knowing I have 3 fueling options because during a disaster, any one of these fuels can have a shortages so having tri-fuel options are a life saver. I can't praise this generator enough. Good luck!

Works well, but maintenance of second spark plug is a huge pain in the ass - it is very, very hard to access, and their manual sucks with respect to mentioning it Runs my entire 4400 sq foot house, including both AC’s (with soft starts). With the tornados we have had in northwest Indiana recently, it has seen over 100 hours of run time. I have followed Champion’s maintenance schedule carefully, and have had zero issues. Anytime I have had to call Champion with a question, their CS has been very friendly. This product has been a lifesaver, and the fact that it’s tri fuel is very convenient Just make sure to follow the maintenance schedule and exercise it regularly
