SACHAJUAN Scalp Shampoo, Anti-Dandruff, Itchy Dry Scalp Relief, 8.4 oz

I used to have crazy flaking. Like big patches that would still be visible after washing. For a while the only thing that worked was using glycolic acid toner on my scalp and using a comb to sort of agitate and lift up the patches. It was an annoying process and it did nothing to improve the flaking in the long term. So I started looking at the ingredients on my OLD shampoo and conditioners and found many ingredients like polyquaternium that contributed to scalp irritation. Sachajuan scalp shampoo has NONE of those irritants. After the first wash I noticed one of my flaky patches was still there but after using this product consecutively for a few weeks my flakes are GONE! It has been such a lifesaver. I use this with the Ocean Volume conditioner and I always get compliments on the smell. I decided to buy the jumbo size because it can be so hard to find a proper shampoo when you have a scalp condition. I plan to stock up and keep a couple liters around just in case. Please NEVER discontinue this product!!

Bought this for my husband who gets ingrown hairs on the back of his head. I think they are due to an oily scalp. This shampoo dries things up and he says it is helping. Yay!

While doing research on dandruff I ran across the Sachajuan Scalp shampoo and read all the reviews, some positive some negative; the negative ones mostly complaining about the cost of the product. I hesitated to buy the product until I realized what I was paying for my dandruff shampoo which was not working was $5.00 cheaper about a 15% difference; so i ordered the shampoo. When it arrived, the bottle was nice and I smelled it, not too much fragrance and it looked like baby shampoo or other commercial shampoos and I was not initially impressed; but of course I shampooed my hair with it. It has a mild clean smell which is great for me since I don't like strong fragrances. I got some in my eye and let me tell you, this is not a "no more tears" formula. Followed the instructions on the label and I have to say that I think the product is a miracle. Immediately my scalp felt better and i stopped itching and flaking. I know it is too good to be true but this was my experience. I was going to alternate between this and my other dandruff shampoo but i have not gone back to the other. I am using it every three days or so, about twice a week and it has not dried out my hair but at first I did use a conditioner, now I am not. My dandruff has not come back and I use it on my beard and my eyebrows (carefully). There is a doubt that this was a seasonal effect and that perhaps my dandruff would return in the winter, however my dandruff was never seasonal, but I will wait and see what happens then. For now I am very happy that decided to go for it and I have recommended it to friends. It is great to be able to wear dark clothes and not worry about the flakes. BTW I just realized that the bottle contains 250 ML which is 50ML more than my older shampoo so essentially they are the same price.

This is a good shampoo for alleviating an itchy scalp. It does really degrade the oils in your hair, so you need to find a good conditioner to follow with. The bottle is a good size, but would have preferred it in a tube, as it was too thick to pour and the bottle plastic was not made for squeezing.

My son has tried numerous dandruff shampoos over the years and the dermatologist told him to alternate three of the popular brands with different active ingredients with limited success. I found this shampoo for him and although it is expensive he feels it is worth it because it is the first thing that has actually worked. It has a mild natural scent for people who are sensitive to scents like I am. I want to note that he has not seen how it works over the winter yet, when are air is the most dry, so I may update if the effectiveness changes.

While this product does make you strands feel squeaky clean, its hard to get a good lather. I felt like I had to use a lot of product and consequently went through this bottle pretty quickly. Honestly, just feel like there are better options for the price. Not a great value - which would be fine if the product was remarkable. It is just pretty meh. I will not be buying this product again. I much prefer the Honeydew Biotin Shampoo & Conditioner to this product.

I have been using this shampoo a while and it does a great job for oil control and cleaning without making my hair too dry. Recommend!

Product itself is great. I have used this shampoo multiple times and will continue to use it. However, when I received and opened my package there was film covering the bottle and inside it appeared to have leaked. There was a sticky substance all over the bottle. I will not be ordering this product from Amazon again. Especially because they ask you to send them the bottle back to get a refund.

Made my scalp feel clean and healthy. Very relaxing and soothing. However tangles hair so conditioner is very important.

Love this but too ex. Neutrogena T/Sal is much better for super oily scalps.

For sensitive scalps this is great!

bought this after trying many shampoos and I have found this to be working in its effect to reduce my dry skin/dandruff problem although it is a bit pricy if used as instructed will last for a long time

Completely saved my scalp in dry melbourne weather. I come from a sub-tropical country so the dryness here has really been killing me and causing a bad dandruff situation. I’ve tried the scalp mask from Aesop and it did not work. This, on the other hand, worked after two uses, and the flakes on my scalp decreased significantly. Will def purchase more.
