Very good for herbs! I like it!
Using it more than a year, works best for herbs, veggies don’t produce fruits big enough in the basket and have watery taste, grown strawberries with tiny berries but very sweet. However, it takes a while to get fruit. Growing dill, basil, kale.

Impressive! Mufga 4-Pod Works Wonders.
I purchased this unit more than 1 year ago. It has never failed me. Seeds always germinate quickly in this unit. What I like most about the unit is: 1) The lighting works swell for my green, leafy veggies, 2) The unit is easy to clean, and 3) The telescopic light pole extends higher than my other small units. The one feature that I hope to see on this unit in the future is the ability to customize the lighting schedule. Other than that, I continue to enjoy growing food and starting seeds in this growing system.

Pleasantly Pleased with Both Price and Performance!
After buying a AeroGarden and then getting hooked on hydroponic gardening, I expanded my garden with the purchase of a 8 pod Mufga. The unit came assembled and was easy to setup. I planted 2 pods with prepared tomato seeds from an outdoor container tomato plant, 4 AeroGarden pre-seeded pods (2 lettuce and 2 herbs) and left two blanks. After only 5 days, the tomato seeds sprouted and by the 6th day, one of the lettuce pods sprouted. I was very surprised and pleased. This is a basic unit, but is preforming well. I like the ability to select lighting (fruit or vegetable). It is a little noisier than the AeroGarden, but I don’t have all the pods filled, that might be the reason. The only real negative is it didn’t come with spacer plugs to cover unused pod spaces and neither the AeroGarden or Daxiga spacer plugs fit. As you can see from the pictures, the AeroGarden pods fit reasonably well in the Mufga.

Not reliable!!!
I bought this in 2023. I have bought 2-12 pod mufgas for myself and 1-12 pod for my relative. They worked great. That is why I decided to try the 8-pod mufga for herbs only. I used it and grew stuff in it 3 different times. I just brought it out in January, but just a couple of days ago it started leaking. I was lucky that this time around I had put it in my grow tent. It had been working fine since Jan. I took the lid off and pressed all the pieces together. It leaked again. It doesn't leak right away. I even went down in a couple of hours to check. My final time around the pan I put it in had water in it. Now I'm constantly going down to check on the others. This was the newest one so if it broke down what's to say the other won't. Make sure you put them in a pan if you already own one. If you don't have one then don't buy or you will be paranoid.

Worth it...
I have two of the 12 units, one 4 unit and one of the 18 units. I am happy with all of them. The lights raise up high enough to grow tomatoes. The top can be difficult to keep clean if you have hard water, but, all in all, this machine has been well worth it. I use a variety of pods, including Aerogarden. So far, these machines have lasted longer than a brand new Aerogarden Harvest and are much more reasonably priced. I would recommend.

Not bad
This works great. I love how the lights extend higher than others. The peppers love it. I just wish there was an easier way to schedule the lights. And a feeder timer. But the light schedule is my number one issue. Sturdiness is great. I put 4 seeds in. 1 Fresno chill and 3 sweet habanero. The germination rate was 100%. And after a few months the health of the plants are still great.

It’s ok
So far product looks sturdy and well built. I only have one issue, product cover looks like it’s slightly bent from factory on the right side on the back. This causes the back of the cover to keep on popping open on the right side. This allows light to go in, probably, causing algae growth in the near future. I believe that this might be a manufacturing error. If it wasn’t for this slight hiccup I would say this is a decent product. Everything is automated once you press on button (lights and pump work wonderfully). I also like the ease and height of the telescope height bar (that holds the lights). User friendly. Hopefully, this is one of a kind defective unit.
