Therefore, I am testing a few different covers for my raised garden beds. In the spring when it starts to get hot I will be covering one bed with this material we tested it for elasticity, coverage, and how well it would stay on in a windy New England town. The results for that were very good. Now, the idea is to get the raised garden beds as hot as humanly possible in their late spring and into the summer to kill any of the Japanese jumping worms and to suffocate their eggs. Yes, this is a thing check it out with your local department of environmental protection or whatever other naturalistic agencies are in your towns here in the United States and Canada. This cover seems to be perfect for the task because it is dark, it definitely can hold some heat, it has good rubber banding hold around the garden bed we're testing this on and the wind test went swimmingly since we just had a giant wind storm go through.

I know these are designed for stainless steal stock tanks, but we got this on our Rubermaid 150 gal. Structural Foam Stock Tank, which is x 4.8’L x 2.8’W x 2’H. It’s a little big for our smaller tank, but it does the job. The fabric seems to be the same material as our grill cover. Stitching looks fine and the pull strings work. Everything is exactly as expected.

The draw string doesn't draw up tight enough for the water to run off. This morning it was caved in with snow and water. Tried to pull it off in a manner that kept the snow and water out of the tank. No such luck as it all flowed into the tank. Not of much of any value for keeping water and snow out of the tank. Had to dump the tank out.

in the summer, this would be great, but as soon as the rain starts.. it just fills with water and sags!! I had to replace it with a piece of wood on top to have some form.

The drawstring that holds tension doesn’t work. When it sprinkled for 5 minutes, the minimally gathered water pulled the cover entirely off the tub and everything ended up in the tub. Worthless purchase and waste of money
