We live in SW Florida and there are alligators in our neighborhood. So when taking the dog out late at night to do his business it’s only prudent to take a flashlight. But holding a flashlight, a poop bag and a large 60# dog on a leash can be challenging at times. These definitely help although they aren’t as bright as a decent flashlight. But they help to see where you are going and neighbors get a kick out of seeing us with these on. Unlike similar units that use small button cell batteries, these are rechargeable using a standard USB-C cable. Once fully charged in an hour or so I find they are good for five to six nights before they need a recharge. Using the low power setting will increase that time but produce a dimmer light. The only reason I docked a star from my rating is that the rubber charging port cover is attached by a very small rubber cord. One of those came out of the light and was a real challenge to get reinserted. Could you use these without the rubber cover? Absolutely, but the covers provide protection should you get caught out in a surprise rain, frequent this time of year in Florida. Overall these are fun and easy to use, you’ll like them!

When I saw these lights I thought "these are really dumb, and I need to get them".. I wasn't disappointed! The small straps will connect them to a Croc-style shoe, or something with laces/straps. They're very adjustable so just about anything should work. The lights aren't going to blind anyone, but they do afford a good amount of light, especially for being shoe-height. I also really appreciate that they recharge by USB-C (which should be a standard for everything going forward), and the flap that covers them does a fairly good job. I certainly wouldn't submerge these, or use in a heavy downpour, but there shouldn't be much concern for damage from dirt/water in normal day-to-day use.Overall for a little fun/sillyness, these are great lights. I'm sure that kids would love them (I'm giving them to my uncle as a gag gift for his birthday), but they actually do have a little bit of utility too. They might be useful if you're taking the trash out and don't have an extra hand or two to carry a light, but unless you're in a very dark area they're not going to get a significant light for much beyond where your next few steps would be. The pricepoint is less reflective of their overall utility than it is their fun-factor.

I got these for a festival and it was almost as a joke but the joke was on me because i NEEDED these. they were fantastic. they light a good bit in front of you, not far by anymeans. but when youre walking around at night, that 1 extra foot you can see Infront of your feet makes a big difference.i took these on a 5 day festival. i wore them every nigh minus maybe one. I turned them on when needed and off when not. i charged them once before i went to the festival and they lasted all 5 days no problem. highly recommend. the different settings were a plus, comes with a split charger so easy to charge them. they can tilt and the way the loop works, it has many applications. well worth the money

These were at first a joke, now they are necessary camping equipment.These work well and last a long time.

We bought the PHOYEN Rechargeable Croc Lights for a friend who has a collection of fun and funky Croc's - and these were a perfect addition to her pile. Great conversation starter. Could also be used when camping, walking your dogs, etc., at night. 5/5 - she loves them!
