My cat likes it
It's nice to not feed an obligate carnivore grains. But a sudden increase of 18 dollars per case is a bit much; recent inflation is NOT forty-seven percent!! I'll find an alternative, simply on principle.

Having liver makes it really good for cats
My cats adore this food and I wouldn't dream of changing it

What our cat loves
One of our cats, Mochi, loves this food. He knows when it’s time for it and jumps to his feeding station, never leaves a string of chicken!

cat with sensitive stomach loves it!!
my cat isn’t a picky eater, but his stomach is a little sensitive. he used to eat wellness canned foods but they made him super sick, but now that he’s eating this he’s been so much better!! took him a little bit to get used to the texture since he’d only been eating pate before, but now he loves it and so does his tummy!

Cats didn't care for it
Neither cat liked the chicken flavor and would barely nibble at it. Tried several cans to see if they would like it after a few tries. Donating most of the cans to charity.

My cats
I make my own cat food and use canned for days that I’m short on the raw. Both cats like Monterey Medley and Harbor Harvest but they didn’t go anywhere near this flavor. Since I make their food with chicken and liver I thought this would be a hit. I was so wrong. The two fish flavors are all I buy now and they get raw chicken/liver in the recipe I use for homemade. It’s at catinfo.org. They’ve been eating that for over 10 years. No illnesses for either 13 or 11 year old females.

Tasty but high carb
I used to buy this religiously, until I realized that my cats were gaining weight so I did some digging around. The product is too starchy. It contains potato, which is not good for a carnivore. I have since switched to a 3% carb food and their weight is slowly improving. I have learned that grain free does not always mean it is better as they substitute grains for other starchy foods that cats do not do well on. Brands like this know that people are concerned about grains but they are still using fillers in the form of carbs like this one.The product itself is stringy and has a gel-like substance which takes away from the volume of meat. Overall I do not think the calories are good value for money especially if like me you are feeding more than one cat. The only product of EB that I buy is sometimes the Catalina catch, as it is very low carb but I have to use poultry to avoid being stuck with fish only. The price is not reflective of the quality, in my opinion.
