Smoobee No Cry Hairbrush - Purple

Shipping was fast and packaging good! We have been using the purple smoobee brush for a few days now and so far so good! My 6 year old daughter who has long curly hair with a sensitive scalp doesn't cry or whine anymore when we brush her hair! It's a perfect size and weight for either of us to work! My only complaint was that when we ordered the smoobee, the item showed pictures of the brush with sheets of gem stickers. Our brush arrived without gems. The seller later told us via facebook that you have to buy them seperatly-- BUT no where in the description or page did it state that they didn't come with the brush. So my daughter was a little sad that she wasn't able to decorate her brush. The next day they did correct the ad after I brought it to their attention on facebook, but I thought it would have been nice for the seller to send us the gems due to the false ad instead of telling us to go buy the gems from their website. :( I will just get my own gem sitckers at Michaels..I'm still happy with the brush itself and would recommend the smoobee to others.

My daughter has very, very thick hair and a super sensitive scalp. The brush design prevents it from combing all the way through her hair and she only let me try it on her once, very briefly...I was hoping this was the answer to our prayers for stress free brushing, but, alas, no such luck. Also, the brush is quite heavy due to the solid wood design and quite cumbersome. I bought it too far in advance of gifting to return or I would have sent it back.

Not a magical brush, but it does work! it does still pull, but not as much as other brushes. I was hoping for a miracle. :) My daughter, 4 has a very sensitive head. I still have to hold the hair above where I am brushing.Brush is super sturdy, and beautiful. We like it a lot.

Never thought I'd be so impressed by a hairbrush! Both of my daughters have fine (easily tangled), shoulder length hair and VERY sensitive scalps - for them, hairbrushing is a painful, dreaded chore. After reading so many positive reviews of the Smoobee, I decided to give it a go - SO glad that I did! This brush outperforms the other detangler brushes/combs we've tried. No more tears or knots and both of my girls enjoy brushing their hair now.In my opinion, the Smoobee Hairbrush is well worth the money!

With three daughter's, we have tried many hairbrushes that can quickly get through tangles with minimal pull. This brush is NOT the winner. While it does smooth the hair with nice heavy bristles, the plastic pieces have NO give. If there is even the smallest knot, it pulls and does not let go. Oh well, on to the next!

My daughter has a lot of hair, but it is very fine and tangles easily. This brush looks cushioned but is as hard as a rock. There is no give when brushing. The bristles are very stiff. No cushion with stiff bristles makes for a rough, scratchy experience. I used it myself and found it painful. Don't buy it!

My 7 year old daughter begged me to get her one of these ouch less brushes, so I bought this one. It's heavy and clumsy to use and it hurts just as much to get the snarls out, I used it on my head too and it pulled terribly. Huge waste of money!

This brush is terrible. My daughter has extremely long hair and it actually tangles it worse than before she starting brushing.
