After getting used to the sound in my quality (and reasonably expensive) PC headphones, I wanted something compact to take travelling that could do my favourite music justice and block out the noise when on a plane, in a busy train station, etc. I had a pair of budget earbuds whose sound quality was adequate but nothing to write home about, and a noise cancellation mode that was so ineffective I often had to physically check whether or not it was turned on.Not so with these. The noise cancellation is impressive; white-noise-like sounds like air conditioning, engine noise, rain on windows etc. vanish almost entirely, and intermittent mid-range sounds like people talking become muffled and indistinct like they're happening a few rooms away in a house with thick walls. The clarity of sound when playing music is great too; my music library has a fair range of genres and these earbuds seem to do well across the board in terms of clarity of reproduction. The companion app has a variety of EQ presets to choose from and a simple but serviceable custom EQ builder that lets you save multiple bespoke profiles. There's also the "HearID" feature which gets you to choose your favourite out of various music clips to determine what you like and build a custom EQ. I found this reasonable accurate but there's no way to test it on your own music until you've finished the process so I found a couple of tracks later that revealed something about the HearID profile that I didn't like - but, happily, you can go back in and edit your HearID curve to correct for this.I found the EQ settings to be very effective, which means the right EQ can make things sound fantastic, but also means a bad EQ setting can make things sound terrible - if you listen to a wide range of styles you may want to leave the EQ on flat, or else have a few presets and get used to swapping frequently.There's also the option for 3D surround sound mode, which does broaden the sound stage quite impressively but I found on certain things it can introduce audio artifacts - some vocals pick up a slight edge that makes them sound like someone singing through a tube - these are usually minor but sometimes annoying, but you don't lose much by disabling the 3D mode. When the noise cancellation is running you may notice a very slight white noise, but this is only really detectable when whatever you're listening to is very quiet or has periods of silence, and it's pretty faint. At the other end of the scale, these earbuds can get very loud for those who like it that way - but if you don't, the app has an adjustable volume limiter you can enable to keep it within your comfort levels.All in all, I was very impressed with their performance given the reasonable price point - my old "budget" earbuds were only 25% cheaper than these, and are completely blown away in comparison. A solid buy for anyone looking for quality sound and effective noise cancellation without breaking the bank - and worth noting they seem to be frequently discounted (they were down at £55 when I bought them) so keep an eye out for that.

My wife has £220 AirPods Pro and I have these.Honestly? You’d never guess these were £140 cheaper.Noise cancelling is about 80% as good as the AirPods Pro. If no song is playing and you just have noise cancelling on then you’ll still be able to hear what’s going on around you, but it will be about 40% of the volume it was before where even the AirPods Pro will only take it down to 20% of the volume. HOWEVER, if you play something AND have noise cancellation on, then for me it blocks out 100% of the noise around you and I made my wife and daughter shout in front of me and I couldn’t hear a word they were saying. For earbuds under £100 that’s incredible.Comfort, I use these for work and to create a silent work bubble I can really focus in with some focus music from brain.fm, so I wear these all day with no issues whatsoever. They are very comfortable and solid in my ear and show no signs of getting loose and falling out. It does come with differently sizes tips for you to pick the best for you though, although the default was fine for me.Sound quality, well, let’s just say that only a proper audiophile could find anything to be critical about here. Personally, I can’t really tell a difference between these and my wife’s AirPods Pro, although I’m sure audiophiles can. For everyone who isn’t an amateur sound engineer these have amazing sound in my opinion and I can’t find anything wrong with the sound at all.Battery life is great, the case looks cool in the midnight blue colour and has some nice touches with white neon LED style lights.Honestly at this price point you’re not going to find better, and this is better than a lot of sub £200 earbuds I’ve tried too. Sure, if you want to pay £200 and up for the AirPods Pro and even £300 up for the Bose Ultra Quiet then you’re getting better earbuds than these, but you’d expect that. Some of the reviews complaining that a £79.99 pair of earbuds isn’t as good as earbuds more than 3X the price is an insane criticism.I’ll say again, these earbuds are ONLY £79.99 and they have great sound, great comfort, and noise cancellation about 80% as good as the premium £200+ earbuds.At £79.99 these are an absolute BARGAIN and you won’t find better without paying substantially more.Get these and save yourself a bunch of cash is my advice. Unless you are an amateur sound engineer you won’t find much to complain about here at this price point.

I was sceptical at first. I know the issue with wireless earbuds/headphones. There is a delay in the audio when you're watching a video. There is still that here, but if you turn on Gaming Mode in the app (which reduces the range), the issue is resolved, which is nice.As for how they sound? Absolutely spectacular. Great bass, music is clear and crisp, and battery life is quite decent for what they are. 8-10 hours on one charge! As for the noise reduction, it's decent. Certainly won't win awards, but it's good for what it does.The extra earbud sizes are nice, and it helps with comfort and ensuring they don't fall out easily.Overall, I'd recommend these! For what you get, you won't be disappointed.

My current Adidas earbuds are slowly losing battery performance after 18 months solid use, they were £150 in early 2022 so I've been looking at the high end Sony buds etc and then saw a launch offer on these. At the price I thought why not, have had lots of Anker products in the past and also soundcore items, always good value.Paid £1 for a £25 discount on launch day and have had them 24 hours. Been using them for maybe 5 or 6 of those hours so far.So for the cash I really am amazed at the quality of these. Pairing was super easy to my Galaxy A34, just opened the case and the phone found them , I did all ready have the soundcore app installed (have some Anker headphones for work and a speaker all ready) , which may have assisted with this , but the fast pairing is a great feature.The various options in the app are worth playing with , the ANC is good, not sure it's as good as they state but I've no complaints, and the auto changing to conditions really does work, walking our dog this morning it clicked in to remove wind noise and again to reduce traffic noise - very clever.They sound pretty good as well, listening to Spotify which is about the limit of my use for these, and I took and made a call while wearing them and the. Sound and microphone were both good.Regardless of the ANC to me they sound better with it enabled so for a fuller sound I'll be using the setting all the time.Battery life is good, and they came fully charged. Bonus.Overall .more than happy with these. I'm using the preinstalled rubber buds but will have play with them to see if the fit could be improved for my ears (I haven't had one fall out so far so think they are fine)One other feature of note is the ability to have 2 devices connected. I've added my Samsung Tab S6 lite to the app and again pairing was very simple.So a big thumbs up for me.Might even buy a spare set if they come up on offer again.Amazing value. For my usage (teams calls, commuting and walking mostly), I'm not sure I need to spend more. The Adidas set will revert to being for exercise use (which is what I got them for but then just used them all the time).Seriously worth a look and maybe the best earbuds you can get at the moment for less than £80.EDIT: had some issues getting them to connect to my wiondows 11 laptop - if you suffer the same go into phone app and add new device and then in windows settings ensure bluetooth advanced is selected - my hp laptop couldn't find them without this setting.all good now and very comfortable to wear over a working day.EDIT 2 - after 30 plus days. Took a 4.20 hour flight yesterday and with the normal 45 minutes before take off added the low battery warning came on before we landed. I guess almost 5 hours is pretty good and the ANC definitely worked hard on the flight! They didn't run out of life but I think I had hoped for more.Still very happy overall.

Get the app, I’ll explain at the end.My first noise cancellation headphones and I’m happy to say they are affective. Really simple setup. Used straight away with the M size. With secure fit. Look and feel good quality and the case is very smart. *don’t think I’ve seen this mentioned but the open case also makes for a landscape phone stand, which is great for tv watching etc*Arrived charged and a week later I still haven’t needed to plug the case in. The touch control has many options and works well once you’re used to it.Sound quality is the reason I’d dock a star: this is personal, with me listening mainly to podcasts. I find the sound lacking some midrange clarity. It’s what you’re used to, I guess. The sound is absolutely fine and having listened to music to test, the bass is full and probably top end for the price.The Soundcore App takes things up a notch (I already had with a Bluetooth speaker) Not only does it link seamlessly but gives you sound and fit tests. However the live translation it offers is amazing. I tested it with a Spanish work colleague and it was perfect. Not only does it annotate the original but dynamically adjusts the translation to correct structure- then speaks it to you. Also it does this real time and listens to the speaker while taking in the translation delay. Very impressive.Tried with Spanish, Thai and Japanese.As a result, three people have bought these!Wish there was more EQ control for the sound but I can’t not give 5 stars.

THESE HAVE NO BUSINESS BEING THIS GOOD!!I paid about £50 for the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC. I already own 3 different types of Soundcore earphones and a speaker.I also ownED a pair of Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 earbuds that cost £349 - gave them away for free. The Liberty 4NC and even my Space A40 are better objectively in every way.I expected the Liberty 4 NC to be “good for the price”.Instead, they … good, great even. Full stop.The sound quality is superb, with a very good range of manual EQ settings, and a very good automatic one. Even with my 47-year-old ears, the sound is incredibly detailed without being harsh or tiring.And this is with ANC turned off most of the time...*The bass is tight, vocals are clear, and instruments feel properly separated instead of mashed together. They are the first earbuds I’ve used where music I’ve listened to for years suddenly had little details I’d never noticed before.The Soundcore app deserves credit too. The EQ options, hearing test, and customisation options are far more advanced than what I’ve seen on far more expensive brands.Practical "boring things" that matter:• Dual device connection works properly, it's actually fantastic how smooth the transition is between devices• Transparency mode is actually usable• Fit is comfortable for long listening sessions, and I mean even to sleep with!• Battery life has been excellent so farI’ve used them in airports, on planes, and during a very chaotic travel week, and they were brilliant at providing a bit of calm in the noise. Even with full noise cancelling, the battery lasts a very, very long time.The slightly absurd conclusion I’ve reached is this:These £50 earbuds made my £349 pair of B&W Pi8 feel like a poor value purchase.This is now my sixth Soundcore product, and at this point I honestly struggle to justify buying anything else.If you’re considering them and wondering if they’re “good for the money”, I’d say something slightly different:For the price you pay, vs the brilliant quality you get, there's nothing that can come remotely close.* ABOUT NOISE CANCELLING; I survived several flights with happy little children near me. The NC is so good, when the air crew served meals aka I took them out, I was honestly surprised to hear the plane engines! They truly are great.After the travel weeks they survived with me, I’ve even given them a name: "Aegis Minor", - small shields against noise that protect my sanity. Small but extremely effective.

First, the good. The battery life is fantastic, they last all day commuting and in the office, easily. The ability to connect to two devices is really useful, super easy to switch between phone and laptop or watch.The sound quality is good but not great. The treble and mid-range are clear enough and there is bass but it lacks dynamism and clarity. It almost sounds a little artificial, like the Loudness setting you used to get on 90s stereos. That said, for the price, a pretty solid sound reproduction.The silicone tips that come with the earphones just didn't work for me. Couldn't get them to stay properly, partiicularly when running. I replaced them with TrueGrip TW-700-B Memory Foam Ear Tips, which fit well and are vastly superior (though the small tips would not stay on the earphones).The real problem with these buds though, is the noise cancelling. Yes, it works well, if you are motionless. But, for some reason, as soon as you start to move, walk or run, the noise cancelling filters out all the bass and the sound goes very tinny. As soon as you stop moving it comes back! I've tried every setting in the app, nothing cures it, except turning off noise cancelling, which kind of defeats the point of having noise cancelling buds.I'll keep these for Teams calls but I'm afraid they are pretty useless for anything else.

Pixel Phone users, please read, especially Pixel 7 series and 7 Pro. These earbuds are fantastic, however I was experiencing fairly regular, brief 2 to 4 second disconnections. I returned two sets due to this. When purchasing a totally different brand and experiencing the same issues, I thought I’d investigate possible phones issues. Google didn’t show anything wrong with the Pixel series, so I decided to use the “search.brave.com” engine and that’s when I found the information, to totally change my experience to exceptional. No more disconnections and just pure fabulousness with Soundcore and have decided to share this with others who may be experiencing similar issuesThe Pixel 7 Pro experiences widespread Bluetooth audio issues, including audio crackling, random disconnections, and audio sync loss, primarily triggered by system updates like Android 14 and the Android 16 Beta. I decided to buy these True Wireless earbuds as a replacement to my Airpods Pro that I accidentally left my in my home country before flying back to North America.I absolutely love ANKER products, but coming from an Airpods Pro, I didn't expect much from this product when I first bought it. so my review here will mostly be related to quality of life usage and not so much on the audio aspectBattery Life: Absolutely fantastic, over 4-5 hours of straight use before you get that beeping low battery that indicates you only have 15-20 minutes left. Then you would only have to recharge them in a case for 15-20 minutes before you can use them again for another 1-2 hours. so the claim they're making on this product is very legitCharging case: I've never fully drained the battery of the charging case as I consistently charge them every night but it doesn't take that long to fully charge the case either. maybe 1-2 hours max?Case durability: i've dropped these bad boys a couple times before on multiple hard surfaces over the last 7 months and they seem to be holding up really well with no scratches or permanent damageCase size: coming from an airpods pro, these look significantly bulkier (1.5 times bigger) but rest assured they are still very pocketable.Touch control: the touch control on this thing is easy to use, very easy to get used to and very reliable even when you have wet hands. the tap and/or hold function on these earbuds can be tweaked on the app settings.Eartips/Earbuds: the one thing i dont like about this product is the provided eartips adhesiveness to the earbuds. for reference, i use the smallest eartip in the box. they are standard eartips but they do get easily detached from the earbuds and sometimes they stick in your ears when you try to remove your earbuds. please keep in mind that i come from airpods pro where the eartips suction to the earbuds are very top notch when installed and is almost impossible to be accidentally detached from the earbud.Noise canceling: let's just say that if an Airpods Pro cancel out 99% of the noise from a very chatty and loud environment (like a gym during peak hours), then this product cancels out maybe 94-95%. it works really well to block out most of the noise in a loud environment, but you can still hear minor inaudible noise in the background whereas the sony WF1000XM5 or Airpods Pro completely shuts out the noise.Ambient sound: this works pretty well most of the time for a $129 headphones for you to activate to speak to someone without taking off your earbuds.Media/Audio pause when removing earbuds: this earbud has the same feature as most high end earbuds where if you remove one earbuds while watching or listening to something, it will automatically pause the media currently being playing before hit play again on the other earbuds. however, they are not as efficient as high end Sony or Apple NC earbuds.what I mean by this is that an Airpods Pro would immediately detect that you've removed one earbud and would automatically pause the media, where as the Anker Liberty 4 NC would have a 3-4 second latency delay before it notices that you've removed one earbud.still an amazing feature for the price tag.waterproof: I tried once or twice to shower with these on just to see if they would hold up and they did really well with no issue whatsoever. but i don't recommend not to shower with these on all the time. your disgusting ears also needs to be cleaned on a daily basisAudio Quality: I am just a regular peasant who enjoys listening to audiobook and music while working out, I am not going to pretend here to tell you the mids are good, the low and highs are good when i dont even know what that all really means in the first place. all i know is that the bass is decent and i've never had to complain about song i've listened to not being punchy enough because of these earbuds. you will never have that problem as long as you're not audiophile (most of us aren't)Sound Core app: i dont know how to use an equalizer but the presets they have is good enough for me to tune up my earbuds based on what i'm currently listening toOverall: giving this product an absolute 5 stars for the Price/Value for money. definitely get it if you're looking a for an affordable noise canceling earbuds. if anything, ANKER also has 18 months of warranty
