I cut the top off of the container these cutters were delivered in, and put it in a handy spot. Any time I need a razor knife—especially to break down cardboard boxes—I just grab one.There seems to be no way to keep razor knife blades from rusting, and a rusty blade is particularly unsafe to use (tetanus). Now I just toss them out, as soon as they get rusty.These cutters are of lightweight construction. I don't think they would last for years. However, rust constantly ruins box cutters, so it's difficult to maintain them for long, anyway.The reasonable price made it possible for me to buy in bulk this way, so please don't jack the price up, or I will delete my review. ;o)

I work in injection molding factory, we use knives to trim flash off of plastic parts and we go through a lot of these. They are sharp and sturdy enough to last few days (for 12cent a piece that’s not bad at all). I will definitely come back here and buy them again.

I purchased this product as I and co-workers all use box cutters, but also needed something light weight to put in our pockets, etc.PRO: nice colors, sharp blades. cuts with crispness.CON: I would NOT recommend this product to others. The mechanism to slide the blade forward and backward is flimsy at best, but there is NO locking mechanism. Your fingers are the locking mechanism. Also after one or two passes of using the cutter, the mechanism breaks off and cutter is rendered useless except having extra blades replacement.Very disappointed in this product. Unless you need extra blades, do NOT purchase. Very poor quality and if I could give a negative star, I would. I will not be giving these to co-workers as originally intended.

They are easy to use and good quality. I like the fact that if the exposed blade gets dull, you can snap that part off, push up more blade and continue cutting. VERY HELPFUL!

I love the price of these. They break extremely easy, but for 11 cents per unit I can't ask for much.I will accept the poor quality as my employees usually end up taking them home by accident anyway, so I guess that they don't really need to last for more than a day or two of use.

We go through box cutters rapidly and the bulk pack made more sense. A few had loose ends which came apart but for the price that’s not really an issueSharp & the blades seem fine. A standard generic item

I did not expect these box cutters to be outstanding quality at the beyond reasonable price of 13 cents each (at the time of this review). I expected them to be adequate in quality and something that isn't going to hurt my feelings if I lose it. They fulfill my expectations to a T.These box cutters are fairly flimsy but very sharp. They do have a lock on them. The blades are easy to snap off when the end gets chipped or dull. They are not a cutter I would replace the blade in but they are more than adequate to open packages and break down boxes, cut through foam, etc. I have no complaints.
