Tru Ball The Beast

I have been needing a new release as the on I had was too big for me. Being a female I have smaller wrists so the buckle strap was a must. The hook feature was also something I sought after. I have been in love with this release since I flung my first arrow with it. So crisp and smooth and fits perfectly. My only issue is I wish the rod flipped back out of the way a little big better so I could tuck it up under a sleeve or something. Otherwise I really love this release.

Nice release. Comes with two tension springs and the lighter one makes the release top notch. Comfortable wrist buckle. Sometimes it may not reset after each arrow but not a big deal because you should double check no matter what. Good buy and very close to the spot Hogg.

Tension in the trigger is great. Don’t thing about this, just get it. I’m more accurate than I was With my last release and that’s saying a lot.

I bought this release for my husband. He wasn't sure how he would like the hook-type of release at first, but it definitely tightened his arrow grouping. Sometimes after shooting this release, the hook doesn't return to the locked position (so it can hook onto the string and be pulled back). To fix this, the trigger has to be pulled again. It comes with an extra spring so you can adjust the pull on the trigger. Overall, he's pretty happy with this release.

Excellent release. Bought this one as a back up for the one I own that is just like it. They both work very well with one exception........both the old and the new will not reset to the cocked position once you fire them. Not a huge deal. Just a flick of the thumb resets it but it would be nice if it reset itself. Good quality strap and buckle. smooth trigger. I love the swept back trigger. Works well with my large hands. I would buy another.

I have tried several top of the releases over the years. The TB Beast II is a game changer. I have a much better feel with the " swept-back trigger" which has enable me to more accurate. I was unsure of the quick-loading lock but it has performed flawless. This is now my go to release!

Easy to use. Good for deer hunting.

As far as performance, this is an excellent release. Very smooth trigger. Definitely tightened up my groups a bit. It was comfortable to shoot with. My only complaint (very minor) is that I didn’t like the strap compared to other manufacturers. But I still give it 5 stars.
