We have Newfoundland dogs. This is a fun toy and fun to watch the dogs play with it!

It makes noise, she chases it, she barks at it, that exhausts her, she is worn out and if you don't mind the barking at it it's a great toy. She is however NOT allowed to play with it while I am on conference calls as I work from home. It's not a quiet, toy, but OMG does it keep her interested, engaged, making a lot of noise until she is flat out exhausted and ready for an N-A-P. It giggles and makes noise when it rolls, doesn't need batteries, she plays soccer with it and pushes it around barking at it until she is tuckered out or we take it away from her, which ever comes first. It's too big for her to chew on so not so much as a tooth mark on it anywhere after a few months. She is a four-legged adorable termite that will eat anything she can get her mouth around, this ball is the perfect size, she can get her teeth into the holes where the giggle tubes are mounted just enough she can pick it up and run with it, but she cannot chew it. This one is small enough it gets stuck under the cabinet lines in the kitchen so we then have to go push it out for her sometimes. She is 7.5lbs and 9 mos old. We got her also a larger version, it's too big for her to pick up at all but it is also is too big to fit under the cabinets in the kitchen so it gets stuck less often as she is chasing it around the floor, but again, she can't pick the larger one up, but same effect, she chases it around barking and growling at it pushing it and chasing it.

My dog loves this toy and gets hyped about it, but she only plays for maybe 5 minutes at a time with it. I have to re-excite her because she’s figured out how to get her mouth around picking it up. Then she’s feels accomplished and wants me to toss a tennis ball instead.But it is a great ball. She hasn’t been able to chew it apart at all. There is 0 bounce to this ball, it’s hard plastic. I sometimes wonder if it annoys the downstairs neighbors when it rolls on the hardwood floor because it’s pretty loud.Speaking of loud, I work from home and at first the sound was annoying. Now it’s white noise to me. But others who aren’t used to it or can’t block it out with time may get annoyed.Value for money is there, it’s basically indestructible and will last.Hope this helps!

Our Boxer/mix is enraptured by this squeaking ball! She will even play by herself with it for nearly 30 minutes. It is bounced violently on concrete every day. It is just indestructible by our 45 lb, mouth like a steel trap. Our dogs ball is the 6" one.

Update: I loved the first ball I ordered in September 2022 and so did my pup. It was very hard and the sound tubes lasted until April/May of 2023 and the ball lasted until the beginning of June 2023 before it started coming apart. Unfortunately, the first replacement I ordered was left in a hot mailbox, leaving the ball soft and squishy with one of the sound tubes out of place. The replacement that was sent out for it was sent thru ups so it didn’t set in a hot mailbox, however the ball itself is still a softer material than the very first one I ordered, you can push it in just with a finger. Only one sound tube works now and the other tube is no longer in place within only about two weeks of receiving it and as of today it has already started to break apart. I don’t know if it was a change in the material it is being made from or the material is not as thick as it used to be, but having two defective balls in a row that my dog can no longer play with is probably going to prevent me from ordering the product again. This was her favorite toy. She loves to either play fetch with it or to pick it up and just run with it, I think the sounds amused her.Previous: Love the product, however only one of the sound tubes worked on this one. Also recommend that the shipper doesn’t send thru the postal service by itself in the summer due to they will put it in the mail box and because of the heat the tubes will be it of place and it will be soft like a rubber ball

The product itself is well made, I guess, but it's really not a great toy for big, heavy chewer dogs. I got it for my boy (85 lbs. Pibble) and he LOVED it for a minute, then tore into the plastic and cut up his gums some. It happened pretty quickly and I got it away from him.Perhaps this isn't a good toy for chewers, I was hoping he would bat it around and have fun, he just wanted to destroy it and get inside of it!Again: Product is sturdy and works, but be careful if you have a dog that can tear anything apart. It might hurt their mouth.

Recommend for puppies. A big dog will demolish this and rip out the giggle piece no problem.
