3M Clear Paint Protection Bulk Film Roll 6-by-25-inches

I bought this to cover the clutch cover and crankcase cover on my motorcycle to prevent boot rub wear. Even though it wasn't as sticky as expected, they have stayed on and are doing the job.

I cut this to fit to solar charge part of our solar lights. My attempt to keep them from getting milky looking. My yard is direct sunlight for many hours and my solar lights all seem to get that white ish milky looking film. So far, so good with this.

I recently applied the 3M Clear Paint Protection Film to my high-end road bike to protect its paint from scratches and rock chips, and I’m thoroughly impressed with the results. The film lives up to its reputation for durability and clarity, offering excellent protection without altering the bike’s appearance. Despite the name suggesting a bulk roll, there was barely enough material to cover the underside of the down tube, the drive side chain stay, and part of the top tube on my road bike. This quantity would not be sufficient for larger vehicles or even to cover a car bumper. I wish it came in larger sheets and at a more affordable price. Overall, the 3M Clear Paint Protection Film is a top-notch choice for preserving your bike's paint job while maintaining a sleek, factory-fresh look. It’s a worthwhile investment for long-term protection and peace of mind, but be sure to measure your coverage area carefully, as you will likely need more than one roll.

I bought this item to make a screen cover on my new Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. I used rubbing alcohol to clean cell and placed automotive film on screen. I used a hair dryer to get a good wrap on the edges. Used an exacto knife to cut around screen. At first is looked like hell with bubbles everywhere but after a week it settled and everything is very smooth and now I have true edge to edge protection on my cell. Worked well with cell case too.

I use this film on my motorcycle to protect the paint in several small areas. Easy to apply, last for several years, and it doesn't affect the original paint. Great for areas where your boots may scuffs, keys may make contact, even between the seat and gas tank. Invisible when installed properly. Just spray on a little soapy water, position the film, squeegee out the water and let it dry.

Hard To handle

I used this vinyl to stabilize a cracked rear bumper cover on my beater Durango. I didn't want it to depart from the vehicle going down the highway. It went on easily, using a blue 3M squeegee to apply, and stuck down like a bear. I believe it's 8 mil vinyl so it's got plenty of strength. While I wasn't really concerned about appearance, I picked up enough tips by watching a couple YouTube videos to make application pretty painless. Just make sure you have everything completely clean and dry before you start, and you'll get some good results.

This film turned out more semi-transparent than clear and thicker than expected. It doesn’t really do the job if you want invisible protection. To make it worse, my reorder wasn’t the same - the original had 3M-branded backing and was more flexible.
