Works for me
There are a lot of coal tar shampoos to choose from, and this is the best I've ever had. Just make sure to leave it on for several minutes.

Loved the old formula, hopeful using a scalp brush will help with the new formula
I have used this product for about 25 years for plaque psoriasis on my scalp. This, along with a prescription solution has kept it manageable. The new formula doesn't seem to work as well, although, today I used it with a scalp brush and it seemed to work more like it used to. I wash my hair every 2-3 days, so hopefully I'll see more progress in the next few days.

Thin and smelly
This is 3% coal tar which is good but it is smelly. I had a bad flare up and decided to try this. It helped but man the smell. I have used coal tar shampoo on and off for 40 years. This is the strongest I remember. Washed my hair, rinsed and repeat leaving the second lather on for about 15 minutes under a shower cap. This softened the scales and most were removed after a rinse and a comb through with a wide tooth comb and another rinse. Applied conditioner to ends and rinsed. Same night I rolled over in bed and could smell the tar shampoo on my pillow. I was surprised the smell transferred. Two days later I washed my hair with regular shampoo and still couldn't get the smell out. My husband said he could only smell it if he was right next to me. I was meeting some old school friends and there was bound to be hugging so I was desperate to get the smell out. I used Dawn dishwashing liquid followed by a vinegar rinse. Then a day later a wash with regular shampoo and a deep conditioner. I will use this only when I have a bad flare-up. Good product but not for everyday use unless you are a loner. ;)

Impossible squeeze tube!
Have used this product for years. This time they changed from a bottle to a squeeze tube. This was a bad idea. It is hard to get the shampoo out of the tiny hole in the top. If I find another tar shampoo in a bottle I will buy it instead.
