Very well made with a 1950's vibe to the pattern. The likely durability would make it a good choice for kids' rooms. It's not as toasty warm a blanket as the Poyet Motte Aubisque, so if you live in Minnesota or Maine you would need additional layers in deep winter. Also, there's a natural wool (not chemical) smell initially. This didn't bother me but some may want to air it out for a day or two. This blanket is a bargain.

The blanket is nice and warm. But the package was almost open when it arrived.
