Kinetic Sand Ultimate Sandisfying Set, Moldable Sand Sensory Toys, Ages 7+

I got this for my four-year-old grandson who has sensory issues for Christmas, and it was by far his favorite gift! He played with it the entire afternoon after opening it, all the way until bedtime, and the next morning went straight back to it and told his mom it was the best present ever. I got him a plastic bin with a lid to both store it and play with the sand in (which I highly recommend to minimize mess and to preserve the integrity of the sand), and he loved mixing the colors to create new colors, and loves repeatedly filling up the tube with sand and then removing the tube and knocking over the sand tower. He also loves making little “cakes” with it and then cutting it up using the wavy cutting tool. The sand does not dry out, but can lose its perfect texture from food crumbs or dirt particles or from being repeatedly played with using dirty hands, so the storage/play container is a great addition to this item. It has no scent at all, the green and blue sand mixed together made a gorgeous golf course green, it doesn’t cause any stickiness on hands but holds it’s form well while still being easily re-formable, and overall I recommend this to all children old enough to know not to throw it or eat it. It’s easily cleaned up, as well, because the grains tend to cling together. To summarize, this is an excellent product and very engaging for all ages. Even the adults enjoy playing with it.

I bought this Kinetic sand set for my 6 yr old granddaughter, she absolutely loves it! She can spend hours creating, squishing, cutting and molding the sand in so many different ways. The set comes with a great variety of tools that keep her entertained and it encourages creativity. The sand is soft and easy to work with, and much less messy than regular sand. Lol. It's been a huge hit and I highly recommend it!

Let me start by saying this is one of the most satisfying toys that will provide hours of fun for your kids and yourself. This set comes with a lot of tools and different color sands for endless fun. The sand does not dry out and lasts a long time. It is so much better than slime and is super easy to clean up. Price was very reasonable. This would make an awesome gift as well! I bought this for my 3-year-old grandson, and he absolutely loved it! He had so much fun using the molds and tools to build and create. The kinetic sand kept him entertained for quite a while, and it was great for encouraging imaginative play. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the blue sand was much finer than the other colors. It got everywhere—on his hands, face, clothes, and all over the floor. It was much messier than we expected, so we ended up throwing the blue sand away and just using the other colors. Overall, it’s a fun set with lots of accessories, and my grandson really enjoyed it. Just be prepared for a little extra cleanup, especially with the blue sand.

As an adult I love kinetic sand. I love how its not messy and can be played with over and over again. Its a stress reliever. This kit was great. Love all the tools that came with it, they are very durable. Definitely fun to.play with for kids as well. Its great because it can truly be used over and over.

Absolutely great having this for children 4 to 10 yrs old. It makes beautiful forms using the molds included. They will enjoy creative play and turn out forms that look awesome.

This kit comes with all you need to start your journey with kinetic sand! I started by just having my toddler use the sand alone and then added little toy bugs for her to find. And this was the perfect addition to help her fine motor skills. Each tool works differently and gives time for the child to explore shapes, textures, and my toddler was even talking about the colors of the tools! I attached pictures of all the tools. It also came with three packs of sand. I already had a small pack so I only added in one more pack for now to keep them all from combining and turning a gross color so soon. I recommend using two packs of sand for quality play. It's enough sand to play with all the tools. This was 100% worth the price. Sometimes you can find it less expensive on Michael's website. And if you're a teacher you get an additional 15% off there. If not, I still think it's fully worth this price. My 1.5 year old loves it!

Das Set ist einfach toll! Das Plastik hochwertig und stabil und der Sand ist so wie er sein muss. Es hat zusammen mit den Vorschlägen, die dabei sind, einen hohen Aufforderungscharakter zum Eperimentieren. Das Kneten und Fühlen des Sandes mit den Händen macht unabhängig vom Alter der Kinder (bei uns 3 und 12 Jahre) einfach nur glücklich! Was man trotzdem noch ergänzen muss, es ist zwar eine Plastiktüte dabei, aber zur Aufbewahrung im Kinderzimmer ist eine Box sicherlich noch praktischer.
