Tune Buds - Noise Cancelling Earbuds - Blue

Energetic, Fun, and an Excellent Value JBL has built a very good set of earbuds that delivers an energetic and enjoyable listening experience. If you enjoy punchy bass and a lively presentation, these earbuds will put a smile on your face. The redesigned charging case is a nice improvement. It feels more refined, fits comfortably in the hand, and makes the earbuds easy to carry wherever you go. The sound signature is exciting. The bass has good impact, the rhythm keeps you engaged, and the vocals remain clear. After comparing these directly with my other earbuds using the exact same songs, I found that these earbuds really come alive when the volume is increased a few notches. That's when the bass becomes fuller, the punch comes through, and the music becomes even more enjoyable. Comfort is good, connectivity has been reliable, and the overall value for the money is outstanding. Are they the most refined earbuds I've ever heard? No. They aren't trying to be. JBL designed these to be fun, energetic, and engaging, and they succeed. If you're looking for earbuds that deliver strong bass, an exciting sound signature, and excellent value for the price, these are an easy recommendation. Highly recommended.

When I tried to install the JBL Headphones app from 'Google Play' on my Consumer Cellular Verve I couldn't find it with a search; and when trying to install from the QR code I kept getting an error message 'not compatible with your device'. I was ready to return them until I did a search on the error and found an article explaining an alternate way to install the app through APKMirror (which to my surprise actually worked). Having gotten past that, everything has been fairly easy and seems to work really well (except it takes some effort and usually a few tries to get them snug in my ears). I ended up using the smallest gel caps and I suspect some people who complain about not having a large enough size might actually need the smaller size. I set up the left bud to control volume instead of the default since I will use them only for music. At first, I thought I was supposed to tap the top of the buds to start/stop etc. but soon realized I was supposed to tap the outside surface, and it worked fine from that point on. One review complained about the small number of presets for the equalizer. I think they probably didn't scroll down far enough. In any case I just set up the custom option to match what Rock would normally be (a curve with gradually increasing base & treble at the low and high ends) and it sounds fine. I have only been using these for a short time. But unless there are problems I haven't encountered yet, I think these JBL Tune Buds would be much more than adequate for just about anyone (or at least those planning to use them exclusively for music as I am). I finally got a chance to use these on an ice rink (real life situation). I agree they are somewhat difficult to get seated in your ear. The quick start manual has 2 pictures illustrating the suggested positioning for doing it, but I also wiggled them and pushed in for about 5-10 seconds which seemed to help. Once I got them in, they stayed. With my budget priced phone placed on the sidelines the blue tooth stayed connected over the entire area of the rink. I found it very helpful to be able to pause, rewind and replay a song by tapping the ear bud (as opposed to using the phone). For those stating they are not loud enough, check the app setting to see if you have the volume limiter enabled (and be careful if you turn it off).

The long and short of it, I really just needed earbuds for phone calls and this works pretty well for that. But I've experienced a lot of drops from my iPhone 16, it does not synch with Mac Air M4 laptop and infrequently with my iPad. That and I can't blame JBL as I love their sound electronics, but the earbud rubber implants dont fit perfectly in my ear canal and thus doesn't create a solid baffle to take advantage of the excellent bass and other mids and trebles that these buds have. I mean it is great but I get probably about 20-30% of the bass and full sound. Great price, much better than most. The one things that is annoying is it's connectivity to devices and drops. Need to improve that. I gave it a 4 because it is a well priced, solid set of earbuds when I was thinking 3 as the connectivity and noise cancelling are much to be desired. The noise cancelling is quite lite but that's not really important to me as i really don't use these to listen to music much.

Y’all I really think these are worth a try. I have issues keeping buds in my ears and a lot just do not fit well or want to remain in my ears during anything more than sitting or leisure; these are very comfortable and I sometimes forget they are in my ear. Superb. I comfortably wear one whilst quotidian tasking. There are 3 different size inserts and one worked fit-wise. I think it is because of the flat portion prior to the ear insert, *photo. I purchased the pretty dark blue and it has a nice mat finish; I drop things and I think that gives the case a little more durability. Sound-wise, there’s noise cancellation and ambient. The noise canceling is fantastic; I don’t mind switching between these and my over the heads. Connects as soon as buds are placed in ear, slightly sensitive and intermittently connects while not in ear. I don’t find that problematic. Comes with a cute little orange USB-C cord. With medium-moderate use, I charge it maybe once a week. Recommend:)

These headphones suck. They are decent. If your looking to bleed out your ears to music while your working out DO NOT BUY THESE. They fall out of my ears all the time and even with every loud setting and noise canceling they still just are not loud enough. You can talk on them and the charge last a decent while so I’ll give it that. But I wouldn’t buy again. Terrible choice. JBL could of done better 2/10

These JBL earbuds have really good sound quality and fit comfortably in my ears. The noise cancelling works well for blocking out background noise, and they connect quickly without any issues. The battery life is good, and the charging case is compact and easy to carry. Overall, a great pair of earbuds for everyday use.

I have numerous other JBL products and love them so I went with these buds. However, I’m not pleased with them at all. Got these since they were supposedly better for people with small ears. Sadly, they’re not any different than other brands. This style of buds is new to me. They feel really big and bulky in the ear, not very comfortable. Would never trust them to stay in while exercising. Despite trying all suggestions on their app, the volume is not loud enough. When I press and hold the buds in my ear, the sound is better, but who wants to do that. I been using this for several weeks now and just not happy. Will keep them though and deal with it. They’re used and I didn’t keep the original packing. Doesn’t feel right to return them now even though Amazon would probably take them back. Just say no to these buds. 🥴

It's been a struggle to find any type of ear bud that fits my freak ears. The standard iPod / Air Pod shape just fall out regardless of brand. No idea how people get those things stay in their ears. The Tune Buds come with a selection of cup sizes that made it easy to find a combination that worked for me. They stay in even during outdoor activities (running, lawn mowing). Sound quality is good. Very easy to find or create a custom EQ using the JBL app. The Tune Buds can sound good with a variety of music and podcasts. Noise Cancelation is decent. its not overly strong and all-cancelling. good enough. I enjoy the talk through feature that allows you to hear sounds around you using the directional mics on the buds. very nice for keeping aware of your surroundings. The Bass - Holy.... these things can push out sub-woofer like bass. Not sure how JBL did it. If you're into bass heavy music I highly recommend these. That being said I primarily listen to Rock and they've also performed well.

sounds just the same as the jbl 760 nc headphones but better as you get noise cancellation and ambient mode the only downside is that it very easy to drop I lost my other one and now it’s battery life dies quickly so i will much more prefer the JBL headphones
