My PS5 has no HDMI signal — will this replacement HDMI port repair my console?

Yes, if the PS5's no-signal issue is caused by a damaged HDMI port connector on the motherboard, replacing it with this port can restore HDMI output. Professional soldering skill is required for installation.

Does this HDMI port fit the PS5 Slim or PS5 Pro, or only the original standard PS5?

This replacement HDMI port is designed for the original standard PS5 console only. It is NOT compatible with the PS5 Slim or PS5 Pro, which use a different board layout.

I'm not experienced with soldering — can I install this HDMI port myself?

Professional installation is strongly recommended. Replacing the PS5 HDMI port requires precision soldering to the motherboard. Without soldering experience, attempting this repair risks permanently damaging the console.

Does the kit include everything I need for the repair, or do I need extra tools?

The kit includes 2 replacement HDMI port sockets and a T8 Torx screwdriver for opening the PS5. Soldering equipment (soldering iron, solder, flux) must be sourced separately as it is not included.

Why does this kit include 2 HDMI ports instead of just one?

Two ports are included to provide a spare in case one is damaged during the delicate soldering process. Having a backup port available prevents the need to order again if the first installation attempt is unsuccessful.
