I’d wash my face with whatever was around, I’d never moisturize and rarely would use sunscreen. Even with this horrible “routine” my skin shockingly did fine. Then suddenly after two pregnancies, my skin went crazy! Dry patches, hyperpigmentation, breakouts, visible pores, and just uneven craziness. I had no idea what to do! I was told about Anora by a friend (she has amazing skin) and purchased the fortifying active moisturizer, the eye cream and the cleanser. I have been using them for about two weeks and I have to say, my skin has evened out significantly, the dry patches are gone and overall my skin feels much plumper. A coworker even remarked that my skin looked great – which made me realize I hadn’t heard that in a long time! The day moisturizer is perfect for me for day and night use because I don’t like a thick heavy cream – I feel like it’s very effective without feeling sticky or goopy. The moisturizer and cleanser also smell amazing. I’m sensitive to scents, anything perfume-y leaves me sneezing but this citrusy light essential oil smell is fantastic. Because I am still pretty lazy, I keep the cleanser in the shower and squirt it on my clarisonic which is great because the cleanser also exfoliates along with the brush. Finally, I never really thought I’d use an eye cream. All that dabbing and precise placement seemed like too much trouble. But frankly, in my 30’s I need it! And this eye cream is great because it can go on your whole eye area including the lids. So I just throw it on before bed with the moisturizer and I’m good to go. Not really, and natural ingredients CAN irritate the skin, anyway. *by M***. on March 2, 2020* As a facial cleanser, this gel is okay, but as a makeup remover it is only moderately effective. It smells fresh and doesn't irritate my skin.Just because ingredients are natural doesn't mean they can't irritate the skin. For instance, natural fruit acids and even the orange peel oil that is in this cleanser can cause severe irritation. Reading the ingredient list reveals that this is not a particularly "natural" cleanser but has mostly very conventional ingredients like sodium laurel glucosides and sodium methyl cocoyl taurate, anyway.Finally, the price is much too high for 200 ml of so-so makeup remover.
