Works like OEM
I'm always hesitant about buying very cheaply priced things that would normally cost me a arm n leg to get if I was to buy it from a local store. In this case if I was to buy a blank unprogrammed key it would've been 200-250$ + just for the key not cut or programmed. (Prices are ridiculous where I'm from. Hawaii) Anyways over the past 3-4 years I've lost my Tacoma's keys 3 times. Every time I ordered a key I've gotten it from these guys. All you need to do is find a lock smith that cuts and programms the key and you'll have your truck rolling in no time. Big save of money . I've lost my keys so much I've become friends with the lock smith and now he charges me only 60 buck to cut and program . huge save worth every penny!

Fit 2008 Toyota Sienna
I purchased this key and a key fob from the same supplier. As noted in some other reviews, the key is a hard plastic versus the Toyota standard key. This wasnโt an issue for me. I used the guidance provided on the web site listed on the enclosed card and had no troubles adding both on the system.I added the key before getting it cut at the local hardware store (adding key doesnโt require turning on the car - just pushing into switch). Other than feeling like I was performing some archaic rituals to activate each new device, it worked without any problems. I now have a spare key & Fob for an excellent price. The local hardware store cost was $1.25. You should expect 2-3x this cost at a big box store (assuming they have the ability to cut a key by hand)

It works
I had trouble programming myself. Went to Toyota hours ago spend $101 to have them program. But the key actually works!!If you are needing another key for your vehicle this is worth the investment. Saved MAYBE an additional $100.

Make sure you attempt to add your key to the ECU/immobilizer before the return window closes.
Received normally looking key that did not work.It took me sometime to get around to adding the key to the immobilizer om my Toyota. When I did try to do it, the system could not add the key. All attempts failed with the message that the ECU could not communicate with the key.I ordered a new key from a different vendor. When I got it and compared to this one, I saw the difference: this key was shorter and did not have the 'dot' at the top of its neck that indicates the type of the chip. They key from another vendor was added to the immobilizer without a problem. So the key I got here was faulty/incorrect. Unfortunately it was too late for a return.

Great replacement option!
Worked great for my 2005 Toyota Highlander! Found YouTube video how to program it myself. Took to Loweโs first to get cut. No computer or dealer needed to program.

Worked, but is shorter than original
I found instructions online and got it to work on my 2007 Sienna. I don't think it opens the door though. Oh well.
