Do their job perfectly
Disclaimer: I have not tried using these in an actual nail gun. I've been using them with a wide magnetic nail punch and hammer to assemble several frames. This method has saved me the money of buying the gun and it has worked great so far. I've assembled five large frames for maps. The edge is sharp enough to go in easy with a light strike. The one time I made a mistake and had to remove them made clear that they are meant to be pretty permanent. It damaged the frame. So be pretty sure before you drive them in.
