Quality 43mm six string BONE Guitar Top Nut

Shorter than required. Caused buzzing on 2 low strings (5 & 6). Found that its due to the deep slit to keep the string in position. After I elevated the portion with a small cardboard underneath (between guitar and nut), it works as expected. Like the sound. Hence the reason giving 4 Stars. If you use a cappo, the nut is not important at all.

Nice product. Well made. Unfortunately this nut wasn't quite cut tall enough for my Epiphone Les Paul Standard. Fitted in slot beautifully though. So was sad to see the bottom E literally resting on the first fret, same for the A string, after fitting the bone nut. Might just be a case of the nut slot cut for the Epi' are slightly deeper than on the Gibson. So I may have to buy a Tusq instead and hope that will be tall enough for my particular Les Paul guitar.My suggestion would be to make these bone nuts 2mm taller to give customers some exess to sand away for required height. Or better still, cut some nut to fit the Epi's too ;-) As i would absolulely buy again from this seller if i knew that id get a good fit next time around. Fast delivery.

Nothing really to say. This item does what it says and is easy to secure to the guitar. Only criticism is that it may be a little expensive for a very small piece of shaped bone!

Utterly brilliant on my Les Paul, no sanding was required on the base. The string groves were very shallow, but a single stroke with a file fixed that.If your Les Paul has a plastic nut, rip it out and fit one of these.Utterly brilliant, excellent price. well worth it.

I replaced the nut on my guitar which was originally left handed. It’s easy to do and it works fine.

great quality nut. my guitar plays better now. i messed up the installation as there is a slight gap between the nut/wood in some places. also chipped the finish on the guitar. i might buy a second nut to try do a better job.

The item arrived much quicker than I expected . I have not fitted it yet but, if is anything like the saddle I purchased at the same time it will not disappoint.
