Grab Bars for Shower, 16 Inch Shower Handle, 2 Pack, Polished Nickel

These things are perfect for my fathers needs. Having them inside the bathroom, bedroom, and hallway has been a great addition with little work. they are strong, stable, long enough to go easily between studs on the interior that are 16'' apart, and just far enough away from the wall for a good grip but not so far you run into them while walking. I have installed many grab bars over the years and these at this price are a great option especially with delivery and how easy they are to assemble. They look great and have held up to a 350lb disabled man pulling himself up and steadying himself down or walking.

Great value and sturdy grips. Added one to wall to enter tub and one center of Bath. Really like to attachment gear included as we had to install where no stud. Look great and functional. Recommended

These are beautifully, elegant, chrome bars perfect for a bathroom. They are sturdy and easily held even when wet via the cross hatched grip space. Mine were installed by a professional plumber who found the proper underlying support studs behind my tiles for the strong base they need to support various weights. I knew where I wanted and needed them and the plumber complied providing they could be attached to studs. His instruments took the guess work out of the project.

Great grab bars, a little small and not a thick bar, but it does the trick in the shower and the middle has perforated grip. It’s a nice set for a good price

These appear to be of good quality...time will tell. The design is excellent. They were easy to install. My only complaint (and why I only gave 4 stars) is the fasteners supplied to attach the grab bars to the shower wall are WAY too short. The supplied screws are only 1 and 1/4" long...nowhere near long enough to provide a safe, secure hold. The mounting bracket has a 1/4" offset. Add to that, a ceramic wall of about 3/8" thick and a cement backer board of 3/8". The supplied mounting screws would barely get through that. They need to be long enough to get at least 3/4" into a stud to be safe...preferably an inch. I'd still recommend buying these for the price, but get yourself some 2 and 1/2" exterior grade #9 construction screws to attach the grab bars to the wall.

Nice and easy to install, great value

Good sturdy grab bars ! Happy that it came in a pair and reasonably priced. One was place along the side to help get into the tub/ shower, and the other placed on the back wall. Makes getting in and out of the shower very manageable by myself.

These grab bars are perfect. Long and with an etched area in the middle for a solid grip and it’s a good size area too. It’s solid and secure, no worries about using it.

When positioning the screw cover, the "paint" chipped off in 2 different places. It was also difficult to install, the instructions were not really clear

Easy to install with supplied drill bit and inserts. Found drill bit size a multimeter to small but was able to insert with hammer Feels very strong. Tried suction cup unit. Suction lasted for 10 minutes. Purchase screwed u it. These were great

I mounted these in the garage to help my wife get up from her mobility scooter after parking it. She's thrilled with the improvement. One thing to note: when positioning the three holes for mounting, be sure the none of them is in line with the bar itself, or the bar will get in the way of putting in one of the screws.

Bought these for my 88yo mother-in-law. I don't go to the cabin much anymore, so her son, my brother-in-law installed them and now has her on an easy finance payment plan for the installation.
