Hook & Ladder easily attach with circular thick plastic assembly (male / female). Body is mostly Thick Plastic. Metal Pieces and controls for raising/ lowering ladder bed. lt’s kept outside and seems to be holding up as Tonka reliable.

Bought this as a gift for my nephew, and he absolutely loved it! He’s tough on toys, but this fire truck has held up really well. It’s durable, and the quality is great, so it’s perfect for kids who love to play hard. Highly recommend!

Very sturdy and kid proof. Got it for a nephew for his Christmas gift. First 2 seconds of getting it out of box he yeeted the thing. Lol. Didnt do much scratch the floor.

Because this truck was called Tonka steel classic I expected the truck to be metal like the classics were. This truck is plastic except for the ladder and the front of the cab. Very disappointed. My fault for not looking at reviews. I also did not realize it is in two parts.

When my toddler opened his birthday present his eyes LIT UP!!!! This truck is big and SO much fun. I love how durable it is, I know it will last us years and years.

My 3 year old grandson loves Paw Patrol and has requested a firetruck with a ladder. I wanted a dependable brand that would last longer than a week or two, so went with Tonka brand. My grandson loves that the ladder goes up & down ( he enjoys rescuing play people from couch or coffee table) and he was delighted to find a door that opened so he can put small items inside. This was a perfect birthday gift & has already given him hours to use his imagination in the past few weeks

This was a gift for my son for Christmas. He loves playing outside with big trucks and these are durable and strong! They are a little pricey, but worth it.
