None were damaged or leaking. They are a good small serving so you can better manage your calories. So we tried them room temp (about 75 degrees) and refrigerated. They absolutely taste bad at room temp or warmer. Don't do it, it isn't worth it. The bitterness is stronger and you really only taste the vanilla flavor. It just doesn't work warm. Now refrigerated they taste much better. You can taste the blueberry and vanilla and the mild sweetness comes out. You still get the bitterness but it is in the back of the throat and not super strong like when warm. They aren't amazing but they aren't terrible. They are in a nice portable package for consumption, but if you don't have a way to keep them cold I wouldn't do it.
