**Q: what is the amount of time from when you applie it until you can turn on the water**
A: I have seen it in 80 degree temperatures hold pressure in 10 minutes when applied according to the instructions.

**Q: Will this work to glue vinyl fence pickets back in place? I don't care if it is blue as long as it holds the fence together!**
A: To Thomas: if the fence is made of PVC, the manufacturer may specify PVC glue. Mine did.

**Q: this item need a primer**
A: No, unless local code requries a primer.  Thank you.

**Q: Is there a way to dissolve this to get a small pvc pipe piece replaced that was glued onto another pvc pipe with this product?**
A: OMG ! Buy another $2 piece of pipe ! If your to  stubborn, then go buy a quart of $10 paint remover
