An affordable and easy to use hand wrapper to build or repair your own fishing rods. Assembly is easy and straightforward. Adjustable tension lets you set just the right amount of tension to get smooth tight wraps.

What's great about this rod wrapping tool is the portability. I stored all the parts in a toolbox to take with me to my Fly Rod building class. Time and use experiences will attest to the durability. So far I'm happy with the functionality of the tool. One modification I did make was to replace the bolt for the spool holder and tensioning springs with a longer bolt as I had the knob fly off while wrapping guides on a one weight fly rod.

Did the job perfectly. Also an addictive hobby.

It's molded plastic. It needs some assembly. It is complete, and quite functional. The main unit is rather short. Good value, great for people starting the hobby!

This assisted me in replacing my rod eyelet. It took some maneuvering to get it to work. Next time, I will spend more to purchase a little higher quality.
