IREDOON Dog Nail Grinder

Purchased this to clip my Great Pyrenees’s nails and have used it once so far. Trimmer was exactly as described. It was quiet enough that he remained calm, was very easy to use and the worked well. I used each speed on it, it seems to have a strong motor in it. Battery life was better than I expected, I used it for over an hour and it never lost any speed. I do like that it is portable, being able to use it outside without a problem was great. Pyres have really thick nails and this worked really on them; so much better than a traumatic trip to the vet for him! I would recommend this product

This is a quiet one, it works so well and it's not difficult to use. It charges up quickly, it has 3 speed modes and they are all very quiet. I have a huge German Shepherd didn't freak out and this worked on his thick nails. This is the first electrical one I have purchased and used and I do not regret it at all. This one is a bang for your buck.

This nail grinder is very quiet and lightweight and easy to handle. It has a nice catcher for the nail dust, and does a good job of grinding. The light is a nice bonus so you can see the quick of the nail easily. My only objection is that the black cap that has a slot on it as a nail guide unscrews when it is being used, which is frustrating. I contacted the company and they responded quickly and graciously offered a full refund. So, customer service is great. If you don't mind not using the black cap, it works well just like a lot of other nail grinders, and still is a quiet grinder with a nice light and dust catcher. My dog has been very nervous about clipping her nails; I have tried several types of cutters and have had to struggle with her to let me cut them. With this grinder, she quickly calmed down and by the 2nd time using it, she let me hold her feet with no problem.

My husky hates getting her nails trimmed. This nail grinder makes the experience easier and safer for both her and me which I appreciate a bunch! It‘s not super loud, the light is incredibly helpful since my husky has clear nails so I can locate her quick and keep an eye on it better. It keeps a pretty good charge and I like the size and durability.

Excellent purchase. Much safer than than clippers, especially for black nails. My dog was apprehensive at first, but now is calm and understanding. I chose the Iredoon based on someone else’s review, and I’m glad I did. Quiet, smooth, and works great. There are 3 speeds…I use the middle setting. The plastic guard helps prevent dust, but I find it easier to see without it. Battery life is excellent. I would strongly recommend this to anyone. Main tip of advice: Trim a small amount off on the first session, then come back the next day and do the rest…helps get the dog used to it.

Great nail grinder. Works great on small nails and large alike (I have a Doberman and miniature pinscher). I love the light!

My dog hates it. It probably does what it’s supposed to do but even on the lowest setting it’s a frantic fiasco when I turn it on within hearing range of him. Maybe your dog will be ok with it. I gave this a lower rating only because it CLAIMS to be low noise and the best for anxious pets.

I purchased this nail grinder and I couldn't be more happier. The sound is very quiet it doesn't scare my dog like the other one I had and the wheel grinds down the nail very smoothly. I love that their is a light on it as well. And 3 speeds and it tells you how much battery percentage is left. It's USB cord is included and it charges rather quickly. I just love this purchase and you will too.

Die Krallenschleife für unseren Hund ist einfach super! Sie liegt gut in der Hand, arbeitet angenehm leise und schleift die Krallen sauber und sicher ab. Unser Hund hat sonst immer Angst beim Krallenschneiden, aber mit diesem Gerät bleibt er viel entspannter. Der Akku hält lange .Klare Kaufempfehlung für alle Hundebesitzer!

Compared to other electrical nail grinders we've tested this is by far the most effective one. Have not even dared to use 3rd speed yet... Strong, good battery performance and overall easy to use. Have The led-light is a plus but not a must. Highly recommended.

I've a 12 yr old dog who loathes having his paws faffed with let alone nails cut - unfortunately had an incident at the vets when they cut his nail too far and it bled so future attempts always ended up stressful. I'd bought a nail grinder few years ago but was noisy and my dog wouldn't entertain the idea of it going near him. So I was dubious about purchasing another grinder but thought I'd give it another try. After a bit of research I decided to opt for the Iredoon one mainly for the quietness and the 18month warranty - being a reasonable price was also a bonus as I wasn't feeling confident my dog would like it. Arrived next day, promptly put it on charge and I was soon introducing it to my dog. The first speed setting is quietest and vibration is minimal didn't startle my dog at all. However, once I started to use it on a nail did my dog then disliked it. I persisted and within few minutes my dog was a lot calmer and willing. I was so pleased that finally I'm able to trim my dogs nails which doesn't stress him out too much. I'm confident that as I use it for short frequent periods he will get used to it and will become even easier. The unit seems pretty robust, easy to hold and use. The various ports enables me to get the correct angle I need for each nail. The LED lights are bright and I didn't use them whilst trimming as felt it was just something else that may annoy my dog but it's a feature I think may be useful especially for light coloured nails - my dog has hard, black ones and not sure if I'd be able to see the quick. I find the unit is gentle and effective - I only wish I'd bought it years ago and introduced it to my dog when he was a puppy but so chuffed that finally found a way of trimming my dogs nails which doesn't stress him out into a frenzy.

Bought a replacement for another brand that quit. Works great on thick St. Bernard claws. Has 4 lights around grinder, not just 2. This greatly eases use! This one works so well, I just bought another for our cabin. Is also fairly quiet.
