Start off with the presentation of this tea - having 18 individual little pods inside the plastic box just looks so high-end and classy, this would be an amazing addition to a tea lovers gift box or to the table during a fancy tea luncheon, brunch, baby or wedding shower.The flavor is very complex, obviously having 18 different components in each cup is going to be a very unique experience, especially if you are not familiar with some of these flavors. In addition to the flavor, many of these ingredients have lots of health benefits, but you may want to read or research online about each of the ingredients to make sure they are right for you.I very much enjoyed this tea, and the fact that it had some sweetness to it already. I was able to get two pretty strong cups/brews out of each pod. I drink a fairly large cup, so if you're drinking a smaller cup you'll probably be able to get a third.Definitely would recommend and re-purchase this especially for Gifts.

First of all, this is loose leaf tea. So don't get this expecting tea bags. It's 15 individual sealed "capsules" of loose tea, each in the perfect amount.This makes it more convenient than true loose leaf (and you get the perfect ratio of herbs/ingredients in each one). I brew this tea "grandpa style" without an infuser, but you can brew it in a teapot as well.The quality of the tea is excellent, and better than your standard tea bag cassia seed tea.Keep in mind that this tea is sweetened. It has monk fruit, licorice, and rock sugar in it. The sugar content seems relatively low, but it is pretty sweet due to the combination of ingredients. Other cassia seed tea I have had is not sweetened, but I actually prefer the taste of this one.Overall - excellent quality loose tea, and would make a great gift for a Chinese herbal tea lover.

I prefer loose leaf tea any day over a tea bag, as loose leaf allows your tea to really open up and gives more flavor. This tea comes packaged in a reuseable plastic container, and is a unique combination of different herbs, seeds and berries, all in individually sealed pods.The scent is floral and fruity before brewing. I made the mistake of brewing like most herbal teas at 212°F, and it destroyed all of the scent and flavor notes. If your water is too hot, the flavor will be mild and vegetal. The correct brewing temperature of 175° will preserve the fruity and floral flavors and produce the best cup of tea. Either way, despite the rock sugar, it's not overly sweet.As with the best quality teas, this is re-steepable. I got three steeps out of a pod before it was entirely flavorless. I was using a 12oz mug. Smaller mugs mean more steeps.One really important thing to note: the mix of ingredients in this, including the goji and burdock are so very good for you. The licorice can be good for you, but in excess it can cause complications. Though this is a tea and not a medicine, nearly every single one of the ingredients can be used medicinally. Please check with your doctor, especially if you have a medical condition or take medication, before you drink this tea. It does have a great, unique flavor but it might interact with certain prescription drugs.

Im no health nut or health guru but the ingredients in this are pretty great so I dont see any issues with the ingredients or quality and the health claims should be legit, since the ingredients are all actual established things instead of some mystery "superfood." Taste is...lacking, I guess you could say. Its still fine, but it definitely tastes "healthy."

The nutty taste was just too much. It was super pretty with all the different items but just too strong of a nut flavor for my tea preference

Some of the herbs in this tea selection are going to be unfamiliar to most Americans, and are somewhat of an acquired taste even for those of Chinese descent. This is not the "come sit on my porch and have a tall glass of iced tea" type of tea, not by a long shot - but for those who like the taste or health benefits of these herbs, this tea set is a great value. There's 18 separately sealed cans, each of which can last a few weeks (take some of the herbs in each can and brew just the amount you need, not an entire can at once unless you're serving a large group!), and I think this is one of those cases where Amazon's price is better than what you can get at Asian specialty stores.

This tea is both delicious and refreshing. Since it is a hot, humid day here in Michigan, I steeped it and then decided to add ice to drink it cold. I was surprised at how good it tasted, as many herbal detoxifying teas I have tried in the past often taste bitter or strange. This tea tastes at good as the colorful ingredients look when you open the individually wrapped package. My daughter happened to stop by as I was brewing it and she wanted some too. She enjoyed it as much as I did. This would taste good hot as well. I look forward to enjoying this tea knowing that it has detoxifying properties as well.I highly recommend this unique herbal tea blend!

I like drinking tea or coffee. I am definitely a habitual tea drinker. I ordered the tea set to try a different flavor than my usual tea. Upon opening the box, I noticed 18 individually packed tea pods. I warmed the water in the microwave. I am too lazy to use a teapot to warm up the water. When I dropped tea in the cup, I noticed floating tea leaves. I had to scoop the tea leaves out prior to drinking. I preferred a tea bag without any floating tea leaves. The tea was very sweet for me. The tea tasted very authentic, and I liked the flavor. Overall, the tea is a fair value, and the item description was accurate.
