I’ve been on the lookout for fake flowers in pinks and purples in advance of my daughter’s fairy-themed birthday party. Among the activities will be a table for the kids to decorate their own flower crowns. I’ve already gotten a start with some fake flowers I already bought, securing pipe cleaners through the stem bases so the kids won’t need a ton of grown-up help. This set of cherry blossom heads will go great with the ones I already bought and help ensure I’ve got plenty of flowers for all the kids. I’m especially happy not to be stuck with a bunch of stem bases I don’t need.The flowers themselves look very pretty. I love the mix of pinks they’ve included in the pack. I plan to put some wire mesh baskets upside down on the activity table and stick the flowers through the holes like a flower arrangement, and the variation of pink shades should give a lovely dimensionality to the display. I don’t think anyone would be fooled into believing these are real flowers when looking at them from up close, but they look great when you’re standing back from them a bit. There is a slight bit of fraying along the edges, no more than typical for fake fabric flowers.The blossoms are constructed with three layers of fabric, each getting slightly smaller from the back to the front. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen cherry blossoms with multiple layers of petals in real life, but I think it’s a nice artistic license here. I’d actually decided against some single-layer cherry blossoms I’d seen in a store because they were too obviously fake. The extra layers on these ones help give the impression of those delicate petals fluttering against each other, instead of a simple flower shape obviously cut out of a single piece of fabric.I noticed one of the flowers had several holes along some petals. Upon closer inspection it’s clear that this piece got cut along the selvage at the edge of the fabric; you can see the little frayed ends at the tip of the bottom petal in the photo I included. I checked through the pack and none of the others had this issue, luckily. Some of the plastic pistils also have a bit of extra plastic along the edges or other small bits of plastic that probably were meant to be cut off, but this is pretty normal for tiny plastic pieces and not a big deal for me.As a side note, I really appreciate that the plastic bag they came in did NOT have an adhesive strip at the end of the flap. Instead, the adhesive has been placed along the side of the bag. This meant I could pour the blossoms out of the bag without worrying the adhesive would get stuck to the flowers on their way out.Overall I’m very pleased, and will be excited to see the kids’ creations on the day.

These cherry blossoms look realistic from across a room. The petals are very well designed, but the plastic centers are obviously not real. I will be plucking out the plastic to sew these together for a more realistic look.

Great for flower girl petals. They’re lightweight and cute. They don’t look real but from afar, they’re a great addition to our wedding.

I ordered these to use with my bookstagram photos and they were not quite what I was expecting, they were smaller than expected but still very pretty. Due to size I've had to bunch a few together but still work for what I need.
