Beautiful!
Comes with a plantable pen- a nice surprise. The notebook is well made and carefully packed. The price was significantly better than similar items’ prices from other sellers.

Lots of Pros and Cons
The pros are:* It’s appearance is beautiful.* It is made from real leather.* The stone’s blue color is a beautiful compliment to the brown color of the book.* The embossing of the leather is well done, crisp and finished well.* The size of the journal is perfect for illustrating, writing in, and bringing place to place.* The paper is lovely.* The way the leather flap goes inside the book and is also embossed is classy (photo 2)The cons on this particular one that I received are:* Front of the cover is not evenly shiny - (photo 1)* The lock mechanism is not placed vertically straight up (photo 1)* The stone is scratched (photo 1)* The bottom right corner is peeling up so I am not sure of how it will do with everyday use (photo 1)* The back of the book has a dimple (photo 3)There is a possibility that I received one that was returned since I see that others have posted photos without these things so I will keep this in mind during the rating. The cons stated above are somewhat minor. However, for the price here I am considering them.

Unique and well made!
I love the look of this journal for keeping track of my tarot card layouts and readings. The leather is embossed beautifully, the stone on cover is pretty and unique and the latch, while a bit inexpensive, looks really cool with the overall theme of the look. The pages inside are all blank/unlined and the book is made up of several smaller bindings of pages sewn together to create the larger volume. The journal I received seems to have its pages sewn in solidly, and they do not show any looseness while writing.I was not expecting a pen but received one! It has some type seed in it which is super cool and really thoughtful.Could be used for any type magikal musings, also looks really nice displayed with candles, cards, potion bottles, etc.

Nice looking and giftable
This is a nice-looking leather journal. For the price, it's great. The design catches the eye and makes the journal look older than it is. The materials are decent and feel great. There is plenty of paper inside and should last you a while.Overall, this is a great-looking journal that makes for a nice conversation piece as well. It's a piece of art.

Really nice!
My daughter wanted a unique journal for her sketches and she loved this one. Goes really well with her potion bottles. Well made.

Beautiful Journal
This journal is gorgeous! The leather cover is stunningly detailed with a moon design and embedded with a blue stone. The craftsmanship is amazing and it's almost too pretty to use. The inner pages are a natural cream with durable stitching. The Journal comes with a small pen that can slip into the journal between the metal clasp.

Back of journal different than shown, black mesh-like lining
A bit disappointed in this journal. First off, the back does not have the nice pattern shown, just the edgework and an advertisement for the company that made it, which detracts a lot from the look. My blue stone had brown patterns inside it, making it look unique but less nice. The interior is lined with black fabric with a mesh-like appearance, it feels very modern and takes away from the beauty of the journal. On my copy, the right flap of the journal has two pieces of leather joined poorly with a large crack. The pages are unlined and tied to the journal spine with leather straps. They did send a free "plantable" pen, which was nice.
