Hardwood Floor Brush 1 and 1/4 with Soft Bristles Universal Vacuum Cleaner Attachment 10 Wide (Basic)

I needed this attachment for a cleaning job and it saved the day. Cleaning 6 ft wide fabric ducts for the first time and the first day was taking way too long with the attachments we had. I found these and they really helped (with a little modification, i had to cut the bristels so they were flat). For hard wood floors they work just fine. They're lightweight, sturdy, the bristels are just the right amount of stiffness and the swivel is very nice. Would recommend 👍

Bought several of this model over many years -putting one in the camper, the rental, the cottage, the garage etc.. Anyone that uses mine buys one. They last forever. I just purchased another and had sent to my elderly mother. She loved how powerful, lightweight and long the wand was. It didn't require her bending or reaching ( 5'11). So inexpensive she ( and I) keep one on each floor of the house. Great for hw/ laminate floors tile, will work good enough on carpet too. Excellent detailing tool for corners ceilings, drawers, cabinets. Very light weight with great suction. They last forever easy to buy bags. Much better than a shop vac for cars, great for my sons dorm. So lightweight you can climb ladder, get in a boat. etc... I still have an upright for my modern shag, but most days I use the EMM on my bedroom low pile carpet just fine. Its great on long female hair too.

I purchased this for my new Shark Apex. The motorized head is great for carpets, but only so-so for bare floors. I bought this brush and an EZ SPARES 35mm-to-32mm tube adaptor so the brush would fit onto the Shark. With this brush attached it is now cleaning bare vinyl flooring as good as a damp mop! It is picking up everything. Even Florida's finest sand and micro grit. Floor looks and feels awesome (I always go barefoot so pristine floors are a must ; ) Spending the extra 20 bucks for this brush and adaptor made my Shark the perfect vac. PS, if the motorized head on your Shark ever stops, know that this brush attachment also works great on carpets. I use it on my berber 1/2" wall-to-wall and on small throw rugs and it performs double-duty very well! This is a very handy attachment.

Hard to find useful...

I have a Kenmore canister vacuum which is the bane of my existence (sorry, Kenmore!). It’s really not the vacuum’s or Kenmore’s fault, I just HATE vacuuming. In my experience ALL vacuums, canister or upright or stick or whatever, have their own fatal flaw. I hate dragging around the canister with its cord and tubes getting tangled and the body of the canister running into walls and getting trapped in doorways etc. BUT it does work really well and I can get way under couches and things and reach up to vents and ceiling fans so I just have to deal. The hard floor attachment it came with is horrid, absolutely horrid!! It squeaks loudly if not held at the precise non-squeaking angle (fingernails on a chalkboard squeaking!), and it was very wide with large dead spots on either end that got no suction and could not clean the last 2 inches from the wall. I had to change out the attachment for a separate attachment with a soft circular brush to get in the corners, which sure like I want to be bending over doing that all the time and going over the same areas twice! Thanks, Kenmore! So poorly designed! This has saved my sanity. No more squeaking. The suction goes out to the edges. It pivots beautifully. Why oh why did I put up with that other thing for years??!! I was about to spend $800 on a new vacuum, which I’m sure would have its own issues BECAUSE THEY ALL DO, and this has basically made it so I don’t have to. If you are even thinking you might need this then just get it already.

I added a second vacuum for the upstairs which is mostly hardwood floors but that vac didn't come with a floor attachment. After switching my current floor tool up and downstairs for a while, I decided to get this floor brush. It works well, although I did have to find and buy an adapter to fit it onto my vac's extension pipe.

Decent enough, but the bristles are too soft and get "bogged" down, making it difficult to push the brush forward. It pulls back easily, but the resistance increases substantially when pushing it forward. Truly. Without overselling it. First day out. This attachment’s ingenious design made a huge difference in vacuuming my hardwood floors. (My house is entirely hardwood.) Compared to the floor attachment that came with my lightweight canister, the bristles on this attachment glide across the hardwood much easier, lighter, than the typical nylon brittles. Hopefully this will reduce wearing down the floor’s polyurethane finish. The narrow design and swivel neck allows for easy vacuuming under low clearance furniture and in tight areas. And the slight cutaway of brittles in the front not only enables better vacuum on open floor surface, the cutaway also enables better suction when vacuuming along the baseboard. (When the attachment is held parallel straight on and not perpendicular to the baseboard....if that makes sense.) Lastly, and more importantly, the attachment fits the hose perfectly without falling off. Sometimes it’s hard to believe a $6.99 item can make such a profound difference in daily drudgery. Yes, a profound difference.
