Kids liked it
The kids, ages 6 and 8, liked playing the game and it helped fuel their interest in learning to spell.

Fun for 5 year olds
My only son can play this game for long stretches with company. He likes to see how many words in a row he can spell or have a grown up set a timer to time how many seconds it takes to spell a word.

Makes learning fun
I never thought my preschool child could do this quite yet and he can. It’s a fun way for my preschooler to get kindergarten ready and my first grader to use phonics to sound out the more challenging words.

Great for pre-k to maybe first grade
This game is very cute and well made. It's nice that there's two ways to play it so that you're able to use it with very young learners as well as slightly more advanced ones. One side of the cards has 3-letter words but not all of them are easily decodable (for example "pie" and "ice") so if you're using a phonics/science of reading/Orton Gillingham method of teaching reading, you'll want to go through the cards first to pull anything that may trip up your learner. The other side of the cards have 4-letter words that include some more complex (like "bowl" and "boat") elements as well. Over all, there's a good range of words and my daughter enjoyed playing this game even though, at 7, it's a bit too easy for her in any mode. Although it does say it's aimed at pre-schoolers, I definitely would not use it with kids under 3 due to the choke-hazard presented by the size of the letter dice. I think it would mostly appeal to kids in the 4-6 range but of course there'll be outliers in each direction that'd benefit from it as well. I did find it annoying that the box is so oversized that there's a large piece of cardboard placed inside specifically to take up space. That seems both wasteful and misleading so I'm docking them a star for it.

Great for pre-school age!
This is a great early learning game for pre-school kids. Easy to use, and it builds confidence while aiding in letter recognition.

Timeless!
This game will always be great for kids and then graduate to regular Boggle. This game is timeless and great for kids to play - with family and friends!

Great learning tool
Great for the young kindergarten learning to read. I recommend. Not much to game and just fun to watch your toddler learning how to read

Looks like a great game. Haven’t opened it yet to play it. But I know my daughter will love it.

Boggle Jr
Boggle Jr is a great toy to teach 3&4 word letter matching words. The older toy that had a built in timer was better but is no longer made. Still worthwhile for younger children.

Fun educational game
Lots of fun for my 3&5 year old however the dice can get a little hard / confusing with finding the right letters to spell the words and this is why I’m giving it a 3 star rating. Kids know what letters they need but then get frustrated when they can’t find the dice with the correct letter on it.
